The title says it all. We came back six times, working through the menu item by item until we did them all (35).

Great cheap tacos and Queso Fondto. This place was recommended by a friend and local. Bright and clean the food was awesome.

This is a neighborhood taco joint. The prices are low, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is fresh, fast, and it tastes awesome. If you are looking for something exotic, this is not the place for you -- it's tacos, quesadillas, and...other staple items. But among those categories, there is a broad array of choices.More

Went here on a recent visit to Cozumel. I went with some locals I had met earlier in the day. We went around 8 and had a short wait for a table. Definitely mostly locals. We ordered a whole table full of food and had...2 or 3 beers apiece. The total for 4 of us was 30 US including a generous tip for the waiter and kitchen. Can’t remember all the stuff we ordered but there wasn’t anything left when we decided we were full. Excellent local place for inexpensive great taqueria food! Thanks to Elvis and his friends for a beautiful night out on a perfect Cozumel evening!More

Great place with tasty, Mexican food - we came here 3 days in a row! Their loco/loca dishes are the best (al pastor, bistek, pollo y queso), especially the quesadillas! The price is also very fair, and two people can eat for around 400 pesos.

De absolute best taco place I have tried. A lot of different choises, and all of them tasted super. Very generous with the toppings of the taco bread. Highly recomended.

Everything on the menu is hot, fresh, and tasty. Prices are local - $1 or less for most tacos, $2 tortas (sandwiches) that are out of this world, and fundido loco that is a must try. Service is quick and attentive. Know some Spanish or...just point; they know what you mean. The kitchen is open and you can watch the whole show. I always tip the kitchen, too. Eat all you want and then order carry out. It is just what you need after a long day of exploring. Take it out of the fridge and you have an easy and delicious dinner (or two a.m. snack). You can't miss with this place.More

If you've ever wanted to try truly authentic tacos, don't look in the tourist zone. Find a place like this, where the local residents eat. This is a sit down taqueria that is clean, quick, and friendly. The menu includes all the classics, like tacos...al pastor or de carnitas, with three for 40 pesos. Adventurous diners can try tacos with eyes or nerves (!). The menu also includes quesadillas, tortas (sandwiches), frijoles charros, and queso fundido (think of a Mexican fondue you eat with chips, which is just as good as it sounds). Drinks include beer and horchata. The menu had English translations, but point and smile would work fine. My order arrived in 5 minutes, and was cooked to order. Was a few blocks from the tourist area, but the neighborhood felt safe to walk and in any case would only be a short taxi ride. Would be hard to send more than 10 dollars. Enjoy!More

Don’t let the small number of reviews fool you! It’s back in the neighborhood so either take a taxi or if your comfortable, walk it. You won’t be disappointed. It’s local, so have either a translator or brush up on your Spanish. We had Chorizo,...pork, chicken and Taco loco and they were all amazing.More

We have a place in the island and are here 2+weeks per month. How have I missed this place? We went tonight and I have to say that this is now my favorite place on the island. I had the queso chorizo followed by three...different quesadillas: bistek (beef), pasture (pork), and chorizo. Followed that up with some flan. All of it was perfect. The quesadillas were crazy good. Not dry. Just perfect. Wifey had the tacos and she reports they were great. The flan was also fantastic. I’m going back tomorrow.More

Went for dinner. I had chuleta (pork chop) tacos. They were AMAZING. Some of the best tacos i have had on island and i have eaten a-lot of tacos. The meat was cooked perfect and delicious. My husband had charro beans. I liked them but...they had a-lot of extra stuff in them. (Onions, peppers, sausage). He is just used to the beans! He got tacos el pastor. He said they were not good. I don't like the meat seasoned that way so i didn't try them. We shared a queso fundido. It was sitting in a pool of grease not good! I will definitely go back for the tacos alone!!More
