Diego's Tacos is a “must do“ stop/meal while in Cozumel. We are really happy we stopped here for the delicious beef, fish & shrimp tacos. We also liked the guacamole and homemade habanero sauce. Erick the owner provided excellent service and the Tacos were fresh...and hot. They are located across from the airport which makes it very convenient. This is a true gem in Cozumel. We will definitely be back to eat at Diegos Tacos again. Highly recommended.More

Side of the road taco place. Diego’s wife and kids were working there .. so sweet and friendly . Had meat tacos and shrimp tacos . Both great . The guacamole was so fresh . Only four small plastic tables , service was quick ....It’s across from airport next to a car rental place ( fiestas I think ) prices are really cheapMore

We stop each trip, and while everything is great, the fish tacos and shrimp tacos are the best. Simple, authentic, delicious

We come to Diego’s very often specially when we have to take a flight or coming from a flight because it’s located right outside the airport. The tacos are Amazing and the tortillas are handmade. Such a great quality food and fairly cheap. This visit...was special because Eric had a present for me.... GRACIAS!!!More

Diego's Tacos is a must try! If you stop once, it won't be the last. We have been visiting Cozumel for almost 10 years and Diego's is our favorite stop for delicious tacos! You don't want to miss out on the best fish & shrimp...tacos on the island. We also love the guacamole and Nidia's garlic habenero sauce is soo good. The excellent food and service with a smile show that Erik and his family have put their hearts and souls in to this place. Do yourself a favor and try it you will be happy you did! They are located across from the airport which makes it the first and last stop while visiting Cozumel, and a couple times in between.More

Hands down the best food I had on the island! This is a must go to when on the island! We tried shrimp, fish and beef all were good but shrimp and fish were AWESOME and I don't really eat ship or fish often ha...ha. So fresh, Eric was so nice and friendly and his mom is the best chef! Don't miss this place the price is great, its right outside the airport.More

Ok, here’s the thing. We have lived in both San Diego & Santa Barbara, California. Both have arguably the best simple Mexican food in the world including Mexico. We have been to Mexico more than 100x and this time we are spending time in amazing...Cozumel. We had lunch today at Diego’s Taco shop that has a LOT of great reviews. I have to say they did not disappoint. Erik served and mom cooks. It’s a small open sided stand with a cover, a couple plastic tables. Right near the airport, it is a great first place and last place to eat. It is spectacular! The beef tacos, fish tacos, salsas, and guacamole were spot on. The guacamole may be the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had it regularly my entire life. I will be back. Happy we came.More

The menu is simple but delicious. We’ve been many times and keep coming back for the deep fried shrimp and fish tacos. One of the best places for lunch on the island. Diego’s tacos is the first (and last) taco that travellers traveling via the...airport should visit.More
