I can't write about the food because we just stopped for drinks one night on our way back to our rooms at Mi Casa de Cozumel (also reviewed here on Trip Advisor). The ambiance was stunning--like eating in a tropical forest. Prices are reasonable and I will for sure go for a meal the next time I'm in Cozumel.

Just had the best dinner in kondesa tonight !!! If you're looking for a romantic spot this is perfect (besides the mosquitos bites...) Such a nice setting. We shared a fantastic entrée (it was grouper fish with Brussels sprouts) and then a beautiful dessert (corn bread with caramelized banana and vanilla ice cream). Awesome presentation and great service. Thanks kondesa-... More

Triple guac appetizer was very good (loved fruit and bacon), and queso with chorizo; all were large portions. Entrees beautiful and flavorful. Dined at sister restaurant Kinta and had good experience also. This was slightly more upscale but either locations are delightful and worth the visit.

Husband and I went here on a Friday night date while staying on Cozumel for the week. The courtyard setting is charming as is the staff. The menu is small, but innovative. I would have found it difficult to choose, if the Peskado Pepita hadn't been (seemingly) created just for my tastes! The fresh catch was tuna and we both... More

We had eaten at Kondesa before but it had been a while. We have lots of favorite spots on the island and just hadn't made it back in a while. I have to say I'm not sure why we waited so long. Our food was great. The shrimp and steak was good. Be sure to order a little more rare... More

The tables sit outside under large trees. The wind was blowing a little when we were there. They have soft music and lighting. The food is fantastic and innovative. The wine is very good. The also use invasive fish like the lion fish to help the local environment.

We tried Kondesa for the first time on this trip to Cozumel and couldn't have been happier with it. The setting itself is just beautiful and very romantic under a giant banyan tree. Definitely try the lion fish cakes, they're very good, even though it feels weird to eat a poisonous fish. My husband had the black grouper and I... More

We've been coming to cozumel for some time and ran across this place when our condo owner recommended it. Both my husband and I had the Pollo Poblano and it was delicious. Had churros for dessert which were out of this world. Charming atmosphere with house cat Dexter on the prowl. May go there again before we leave. Special shout... More

I recently dined at this restaurant, drinks, food & service were great. I recommend the Pepino - cucumber with vodka which was great and he chicken breast dish. My waiter Renny was very attentive and did a fantastic job. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that is visiting Cozumel and is looking for some good cuisine in an outside atmosphere.
