I was looking for a place beyond the ones obviously catering to tourists so I decided to try this place. All I can say is, wow (guau)! So, so good! If today were not my last day in Cozumel, I would go back for lunch...-and probably dinner and tomorrow's breakfast too. Firstly, let me state that I was the only Anglo there this morning around 8:30am. The waitress did not seem to speak English so I had to manage with my very limited Spanish but we worked it out - ordering food is not that complicated after all (also, thank you, DuoLingo!). I ordered a large orange juice (the reconstituted kind but it's okay, once in a while) and huevos con jamon y quesos. I was brought complimentary bread (buttered and plain), strawberry jam and salsa picante. The food was so good I contemplated ordering a second round but resisted the temptation (only because I wanted to get a paleta too before leaving). Nice decor, good service, great food. I am so happy!More

We were looking for a good seafood and this place was recommended to us by a local. It’s off the main streets, not very fancy looking but very clean and with a great vibe. We took the platter of seafood and it was amazing, all...of it! (Including rice and veggies!) Fresh and delicious! The staff is friendly and very helpful. If we ever go back to Cozumel we will definitely eat there again! Thank you! 💚More

Grilled fish, fresh vegetables. Authentic Mexican dishes as well as some North American cuisine. Very reasonably priced and the service is good.

We always come here at least once or twice every time we visit Coz, sometimes daily. Good, fresh ceviche, quesadillas, and tacos. My daughter loves the fried plantains. We will be back this summer if things open up again.

15 years ago we stumbled across this local restaurant while looking for an Internet cafe (yes way back then!) The immediate impression was of how many locals there were there- so that’s always a great signal. It’s not fancy dining , but you’re there for...the awesome Mexican food, fresh fish (always check the cooler in the back left) of the day and killer grande Margaritas. Service is genuine Mexican hospitality, very friendly and it’s a big part of why we keeping coming back here. If you’re hipster foodie you will miss the point if this place - they serve what the locals eat and it’s never disappointing.More

We decided to try this place from a recommendation and we were not disappointed. We had apps of guac and chicken wings which were both very good. My wife ordered lobster and I had shrimp kabob. Both were excellent and the service was top notch....We certainly will be back on future trips.More

We had a late dinner. Probably the last group on a night. The seafood platter was mostly overcooked. The vegetables with the meal were way overcooked- soft and off color. The drinks were ok. After hearing such great reviews, I was disappointed. Maybe ordering g...the platter was not the way to go. Might have been better with a different order.More

Great authentic Mexican food. Worth the walk from the cruise ships or a $8 taxi ride. We had the sampler platter- a little bit of everything—yummy.

Great location, just a couple blocks from the water (10th Av) it’s spacious, excellent wait staff, nice decor, expansive menu and the food was great. It’s also very reasonably priced. Check it out
