Great place for anyone looking for fresh fish! Crispy but still moist and delicious. A friend recommended this place to us and even though we were there to dive we took time to catch a cab to this restaurant. I am happy to recommend this to trip advisor and actually opened this account to do it.

We visited this local restaurant for lunch at the recommendation of Andrea from Scuba Tony. This was by far the best meal that we had on Cozumel. Three of us ate lobster, the whole fried fish, and the filete Mexicana which had an amazing sauce. They brought chips and salsa as well as ceviche on the house when we sat... More

We ate at this restaurant again last week while on another cruise. My wife decided that I needed some exercise, so we walked all the way from the new pier, which is probably 4+ miles away. I'd suggest you take a cab (about $8)!! Once again, we were able to pick out the fresh fish we wanted from their cooler... More

The shrimp ceviche is crazy good and is the seafood soup! The fresh fish prepared the way you want...garlic oil is my favorite. Its all good and always consistent, that's hard to to do at the price point they are at. Only minus is you need to eat early, like many places not in the direct path of tourists it... More

We had our two best meals at Pescaderia San Carlos. Once we visited for lunch, we loved it so much we came back the next day with friends, who equally enjoyed it. The first day, we had ceviche, a seafood stew, grouper Mexicana (get this flavor, trust me!) and a whole hog snapper, which had been fried. I think they... More

We decided to visit this hole in the wall place after I read the great reviews. I was not disappointed. The fish was delicious and fresh. It's located in the middle of a neighborhood. The restaurant seems to be in the owner's backyard. My son had lobster that was delicious and very inexpensive ($14). They been in service for over... More

I debated reviewing this place because I didn't want the word to get out and have this place ruined, but it's so good I feel compelled to share. The fish is same day fresh, the ceviche seasonings are just right, the beer is cold, and the price is right. It's owned by an ex fisherman, and he knows his fish... More

I lived in the Florida Keys for over a decade and I'm very familiar with fresh fish and conch. When I tell you that the ceviche I had at San Carlos Pescaderia was the best I've ever had in my life, you better believe me. Mouth-watering fish and local conch basking in wonderful lime juice was truly a experience I... More

Have such fond memories of this place and IT NEVER lets me down. The cerviche grand is a full meal. Few travelers if ever and so nice. Great service. Bring cash. 140 pesos for a nice fish filet. It is on Avenue 50 just north of calle 3. Everybody knows the place so cabs will take you there but if... More
