This was the best freshest seafood we had all week on the island! The small ceviche was a huge plate, a meal in itself! The shrimp was awesome, so was the fresh fish my husband ordered, Mexican style. Very cool experience - no frills, just great food!

This is a small hole in the wall, no frills type of place where the locals go and now I know why! My husband and I went with our two boys and EVERYTHING was fantastic and so fresh. We had the ceviche for appetizer and I believe it's the best I have ever had anywhere. I had the whole fried... More

Great local fish, if you have never had hogfish give it a try. Everything is good there but try the whole fried fish. You choose your fish, it is served with some vegies and is great. I had the whole fish and sides, they bring you some ceviche, a couple of beers and with tip it is still under $15.... More

Great place for anyone looking for fresh fish! Crispy but still moist and delicious. A friend recommended this place to us and even though we were there to dive we took time to catch a cab to this restaurant. I am happy to recommend this to trip advisor and actually opened this account to do it.

We visited this local restaurant for lunch at the recommendation of Andrea from Scuba Tony. This was by far the best meal that we had on Cozumel. Three of us ate lobster, the whole fried fish, and the filete Mexicana which had an amazing sauce. They brought chips and salsa as well as ceviche on the house when we sat... More

We ate at this restaurant again last week while on another cruise. My wife decided that I needed some exercise, so we walked all the way from the new pier, which is probably 4+ miles away. I'd suggest you take a cab (about $8)!! Once again, we were able to pick out the fresh fish we wanted from their cooler... More

The shrimp ceviche is crazy good and is the seafood soup! The fresh fish prepared the way you want...garlic oil is my favorite. Its all good and always consistent, that's hard to to do at the price point they are at. Only minus is you need to eat early, like many places not in the direct path of tourists it... More

We had our two best meals at Pescaderia San Carlos. Once we visited for lunch, we loved it so much we came back the next day with friends, who equally enjoyed it. The first day, we had ceviche, a seafood stew, grouper Mexicana (get this flavor, trust me!) and a whole hog snapper, which had been fried. I think they... More
