We have stopped at this place a couple times now and it is a great find. Generally quite and not busy. The views are excellent, a great place to relax. The drinks are great, we had margaritas and they were served in these terracotta cups...that were really cool. I had fish tacos which were good. My wife ordered beef burritos and they looked awesome when they came out. While cutting into them my wife realized they had rice in them which she is allergic to. This was no fault of the restaurant, we should have asked. We explained to them that she was allergic and couldn't eat the rice. They promptly made her new burritos with no rice. They were happy to accommodate! We will return for sure!More

This place gives you the perfect , outta the way stop to hang out, drink margaritas on the ocean and some great food too. We loved popping in this place. Juan was very friendly and the fajitas with perfect. You can even hit the peddler...next store for road beers for your next beach. Being right on the ocean, you can hang out for hours and stare at the empty beaches and rocky surf. nothing fancy here, but the food and drinks were great and authentic.More

My family has been coming here for years, it's a tradition to swing by and have a drink and some great food. The lobster empanadas are the best! And the shrimp fajitas are a favorite of my husbands. Very nice staff, good atmosphere, extremely relaxing....My sons are very good at the ring toss. The cat has the best job, doing nothing! It survived the last hurricane with some damage but it's still running. You can't drive by without stopping. Will return everytime we visit.More

It's hard to weed through the tourist traps to find a real deal beach bar, but this place delivers in spades. The view is unmatched, and my shrimp taco and margarita was truly above average. My wife also said it was the best micholada she...has had on the Island.More

We have been to Mezcalitos 5 times and its a fun place to visit. When our cruise ship docks in Cozumel we grab a cab and get out of the tourist area and head to Mezcalitos for a little lay back fun. This is not...a fancy beach and don't even think about swimming here as the surf is full of rocks but if you want to lay back and have a good time with some food and drinks this is a good choice. The only rule here is that there are no rules. After a few drinks if you want a nap in a hammock go ahead. Or if you want to get naked on the beach, ok, fine. No one will bother you. There are a couple of animals on the beach area but they won't bother you. One of them looks somewhat like a raccoon but he comes out on the beach to dig turtle eggs and upon finding one heads back into the bush to dine. There is also a large lizard of some kind who will run away and hide when people come around and he is also harmless. You can walk down the beach aways if you want to get away from the bar for a little privacy . Prices are not bad and the food is good.More

This is an iconic bar on the wild side of the island but during the day families are usually welcome! Has great views & hammocks you can hang out in with the best margarita I had on the island.

Great beach bar. Very relaxing with a bar area, tables, and hammocks. We had shrimp quesadillas and chicken tacos. The salsa and guacamole are fresh and delicious too!

There were families in the bar area and on the beach when we were there. I think that depending on the day there may or may not be naked people on the beach. If you visit, find naked people on the beach, and are concerned... More

Hi, as you come out of pier there are taxis that will bring you to Mezcalito's. Be shure to get a price from the beginning and make arrangements to be picked up. See you soon!!
