Best margarita I had in Cozumel and the grilled shrimp were delicious and huge. Terrific service and the local ambience is what we were looking for in Cozumel instead of the "tourist" joints. A bit out of the way, but worth it.
We were a party of seven on a quiet Monday evening. Most of us had beer, one ordered a cocktail which was not drinkable. Only two of us ordered the same thing, ceviche, which was average. Two others were happy with their meals, the other...More
These guys do an amazing job with the variety and taste of the food on the menu. They are fun, and they care about each and every customer. Don't forget to order the Mayan coffee at the end of the meal, the story and show...More
Words cannot describe how wonderful El Moro is. Not only is the food fantastic, Ray is one of my favorite people. The conch ceviche is the best on the island. We talk about El Moro and Ray all year and can't wait to get back.
Usually, I wouldn't go to a place that caters to the American crowd ... but given the reviews, we gave it a try. And it did not disappoint! They have an expansive menu that covers everything from what the kids would recognize/eat to what adults...More
Fantastic family atmosphere with AMAZING food! Highly recommend the Zacarias plate. It serves 2-10 or however large your group is with great variety and incredible flavor! Excellent large original margaritas! Highly recommend!!!
Ate here last night in search of a great Mexican food fix away from our all inclusive hotel, and this dining experience totally hit the spot! Mango margarita, plantains, shrimp ceviche, and shrimp Barcelona were all EXCELLENT! Everything had great flavor, the service was pleasant...More

A B they are not a "seafood" restaurant.. they are a restaurant and have many "home cooking" selections of Beef Chicken & Seafood. And on Sunday they have a great Pork special that is prepared the night before and cooks all night and day.. so tender. Do you speak Spanish? If so ask for Rudolfo or Luci... they are momma and papa and he is in the kitchen. If you ask I am sure he will fix a hamburger! If someplace is open for buns!
They are very accommodating. The menu used to be a dictionary... page after page after page... I went in one day and said I want chico chico chico... little of this.. little of this and little of this. They served it on one of the old "school type" trays that had the dividers for the different portions.
People would see it being delivered and say "what is HE having?"
It is now called the Zacharias Special...
OH.. one of my specials I just remembered.. it wasa called milaensa (spelling?). it is like a lightly battered chicken fried steak "El Moro".
