We would rate this as one of the best seafood restaurants we’ve been too in our extensive travels. My wife had the Mahi Mahi prepared in garlic. The other day she had the coconut shrimp and I had the shrimp diabla. The sauce on my...shrimp was spectacular. We are going there again tonight and I’m paying for more sauce. This will be the third supper there in 10 days. Highly recommended.More

We returned to la Conchita after two years, and found it just as good! The ceviche is amazing, and the coconut shrimp with mango sauce delicious. The prices are very affordable, and the portions are huge.

We fished in Cozumel and brought it to be cooked for us. It was excellent! Very welcoming and perfect presentation! Our fish was prepared perfectly.

I had forgotten about this gem until my go-to restaurant for pescado frito entero didn’t have any. I think it was fate at work. First, shout outs to Miguel and Luis for their patience with letting me practice my Spanish. Next, the food … The...fish is priced per kilogram, and I was invited to select my fish. Various sizes from small to extra large were inside the cooler. I had the option of fried or fried with garlic. It arrived piping hot and with some dressed up rice and a decent side salad. It was delicious, and this is now my go-to spot for pescado frito entero. Great price, yummy food, and kind service all led to a wonderful experience. One tip, they “close” at 7:30pm, but that’s the kitchen. Patrons are allowed to linger up to 8:15-8:30.More

So this place was recommended to us by 2 people from the resort we stayed in. And we have absolutely no regret. We wanted to go back but ran out of time! Our server Israel was attentive and even brought us extra green salsa because...just the smell was amazing and we wanted to take some back to the resort with us. The freshness is everything from the chips, to the salsa and of course the food. We had the octopus ceviche and for entrees, I had the coconut shrimp and my husband had the red snapper fried. OMG! OMG! It was so good. It's the perfect hidden local gem. Please don't change anything. We'll be back next trip.More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a resident of Cozumel that we met during our stay. The service was very good and the food even better.

Delicious! Fresh seafood and fantastic service! Had the seafood platter and ceviche- way more food than two could eat. Some of the best fish, sea bass, and seafood I’ve ever had

This was by far one of our favorite meals while in Cozumel during Christmas. I love ceviche and was not disappointed by the octopus ceviche. I couldn't find it anywhere else on the island and should have went back to get it. We had the...caracol ceviche and octopus and had a lot of leftovers afterwards. The other cool thing is you can pick the fish you want grilled from the cooler - was fun and delicious!More

My regular “go-to” ceviche stop when I sail into Cozumel is not open on Tuesday. This place had been recommended by many locals on the port, so we had the taxi drive us to La Conchita instead. The service was great and the ceviche was...yummy. The best thing though was the Dos Equis served chelada style. Try it when you stop. It is an entirely pleasurable experience that takes cerveza and lime to a whole new level.More

I got a surf and turf here, it was really reasonably priced, like $20 and both the lobster and steak were great. The steak wasn't a ribeye or anything but it was tender. This place is a bit off Centro but they're English-friendly and I...recommend taking a trip out.More

We were recommended La Conchita as a great place to get ceviche by our taxi driver when returning back to el centro from the beach. We ordered a huge portion of shrimp ceviche (to go) as well as an order of the coconut and mango...shrimp. My husband said the coconut shrimp were the best he had eaten in his life! The ceviche also was very fresh and delicious. We also ordered two orders of guacamole and our entire order came with several bags of delicious tostadas (fresh corn tortilla chips) that were perfect for eating with the guac and the ceviche. We had plenty of food for the four of us to eat for dinner that night and we even had two bags of chips, half of the ceviche, and an entire order of guacamole to eat for lunch the next day. I think our entire order cost about $17 USD. A great value for authentic and delicious seafood on the island!More

We had a great lunch at this cozy little restaurant off the beaten path in Cozumel. Sadly, due to the decreased amount of tourism, we were the only customers in the restaurant that day. The food was excellent and the choices were plentiful. We had...a seafood platter consisting of octopus, conch, squid, fish and lobster. We also tried the coconut mango shrimp and the el diablo shrimp which were fantastic. The restaurant is about a mile and a half from el centro but the taxi drivers knew it well. It was definitely worth the extra trip.More

Visited for the first time. Follow all COVID protocols with extra spacing between tables. My spouse had the grilled fish. Having an option between bass and mahi mahi she chose the mahi mahi. I had the Veracruz fish served with capers, olives, onions, peppers and...tomatoes. Both of our dishes came with vegetable flavored rice, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and chayote. The filet of fish were more than ample for us both. Wanted to try their paella, but sold out for the day.More
