Really great local pace that is off the beaten path. Everyone greeted us when we walked in, and everyone was super nice. I ordered the molletes for breakfast. It was PHENOMENAL. Highly recommend a visit. Cheap, delicious, authentic Mexican food. Loved it!

We visited this restaurant by accident. It was raining and we were looking for a place to duck into. We found this place. Great authentic Mexican food. My husband and I both enjoyed our lunch. The atmosphere was enjoying and authentic. The wait staff was helpful and very friendly. The chicken dish was wonderful. Everything on the menu looked delicious.

A lady working in the gift shop at our resort told us to try La Choza for lunch. It was off the beaten path but worth it! The nachos were soooooo good! The dip that comes with the "chips" is so spicy!! We loved it!!

Great house margs. Really enjoyed the grilled red snapped and shrimp fajitas. Nicely off the beaten path, but not too far. Very good value as well.

We enjoyed the family style cuisine that they were cooking up. Definitely on the simple side but you can feel and taste the tradition. I loved their cold hibiscus tea and the little spicy sauce they serve with the chips when you sit down.

I recently had breakfast at this restaurant. I serves great breakfast. Since it appears that a large number of their customers are locals, the prices are very reasonable. The only complaint I had was their dollar to peso conversion rate was not very good. The reasonably priced meal that I had would have been "cheap" if I had had pesos.

My family and I went to Cozumel and was told we should come here to have a meal. We had such a great experience that when visiting Playa Del Carmen last week, we made a special trip to Cozumel to eat here again. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is fantastic and they have the cutest little mariachi band that... More

We just returned from a week in Cozumel. Although we stay in a very nice all-inclusive hotel, we always make one stop for dinner at La Choza. It is only two blocks off of the main road along the water. We shared an order of chicken fajitas and a side order of guacamole which is absolutely the best that I... More
