We ate dinner here on our first night of our June 2016 trip. We stayed at El Coz, which is a short 5-10 minute walk down the street, and since we paid so little to stay there, we decided to eat out every night. The ambiance is fantastic. It is dimly lit and felt very cozy. We were offered bug... More

I can't say enough about the staff and management at La Cabaña del Pescado. You could easily pass it up, but make sure you go to the correct restaurant - it's located right between the key lime pie factory and the original lobster house. When visiting in May this year, we had a really bad experience with the original lobster... More

I got the lobster tail, I was a bit shocked at the price, but it was really good. My wife had the steak, she said it was seasoned well but nothing special.

Enrique's uncle at Villa Blanca Hotel recommended this restaurant and we were more than pleased! We chose La Cabana so we could have fish with our meal. The shrimp, lobster, steak, and fish were cooked to perfection. Everything was extremely fresh and juicy. Even the side vegetables were incredible. The atmosphere is great. They were playing jazz all night. Needless... More

This place and the next door "Lobster House" are owned by brothers. We chose La Cabana because I could get fish and my wife lobster. She chose the lobster tail that suited her and I had fillet de Catalina. The Catalina sauce was tasty with just the right amount of kick. Lobster was done perfectly. We asked for extra butter... This steak, shrimp and lobster house is worth a visit. The lobster kabobs and BBQ shrimp were both excellent as was the atmosphere and the service. The quiet local is a bonus!

We had the lobster tails, which were delicious! Drinks were great. Had the key lime "pie", which was huge. Don't plan on eating one yourself! Handicap (wheelchair) access is a BIG problem. Our buddy had a stroke, and can walk only very short distances with a walker. WC access would really have been welcome.

Stayed at Playa Azul so it was convenient, just across the street. I will start by saying the fish was very good. If I went back I would only order the fish. They are known for their lobster tails and steak, supposedly. If you have a Mortons, Shulas, Ruth's Chris, etc, in your home town eat steak there and forget... More

Everything was delicious, from the grouper my mom ordered, the kids' fish fingers, my steak (chewy, as they tend to be here, but flavored well) to the vegetables and rolls. It has screened walls but there was a good breeze and they have bug spray if you need it.
