Been there a couple of days ago. Been brought to our table quite quickly after arriving, beautiful atmosphere there. Prices definitely above average compared to what's around but that was expected before. Shared the Tapa al Ajillo for starters, extremely nice and tasty. My girlfriend had the Atun a la Parrilla, very tasty and myself went for the Mar &... More

This was one of the first restaurants I looked into when I was considering where to go for New Year's eve and I'm so glad I picked it! To me personally this was by far the best place we ate at it on trip...that being said we ate at a lot of stellar places. However for the price, ambiance, service... More

It was New Year's Eve and I was in town with my wife to celebrate our anniversary, so I wanted a really special place. The atmosphere was amazing - styled after Mayan ruins, and really beautifully decorated inside and out. The Muzak wasn't Mexican, more like elevator music. While the waiters spoke English, it seemed like almost every question or... More

This was recommended to us by a woman in Puerto Morelos. I was very glad we went. We ate in the beautiful, light filled garden. the food was excellent, the service outstanding, and the presentation great. Prices compared to the US were ridiculously inexpensive. Great place.

Fantastic margaritas and wonderful seafood! A definite must do! Away from the hotel zone, but a delightful experience.

The seating in the garden is magical. I give them a good rating based on service and settings. The food was ok. My wife had the Grouper which is to be avoided. My lobster was better and don't get any desert as it was terrible.

The food was amazing! From the onion rolls to the home made table side Caesar salad to the lobster stuffed grouper. Fine dining at a reasonable price. Outdoor dining is my favorite! The garden is a beautiful place to eat. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I first went to La Habichuela (this is the original location) about 25 years ago and never forgot it. We decided to look for it on this particular visit and were pleased to say that nothing seems to have changed. I remember a cab driver questioning us the first time we went, implying that the neighborhood was a bit dodgy.... More

My wife and I dined at La Habichuela Downtown on Christmas Eve, 2016. We wanted something special for the occasion and this restaurant delivered. After great appetizers, we shared the speciality "Coconut Shrimp" which was accompanied by equally generous portions of lobster, grilled fish and grilled shrimp. Everything was delicious but what topped it off was the amazing service by... More

The interior places you in a garden setting which is wonderful on a dry Cancun night. The food is tasty and the signature dish is seafood with a coconut sauce that is excellent
