My wife and I happened to be in Cancun during her birthday so decided to see whether we would be able to replicate the culinary adventure we experienced at Martin Berastegui's flagship restaurant in San Sebastian. Fortunately we were not disappointed. Every element of the meal was exquisite (we had the tasting menu), from the service of the waitstaff (I... More

This restaurant is great for special events. Their testing menu is very creative. This place definitely worth Michelin stars. The price is much more cheaper comparing the same level of Californian restaurants.

Saw this gem on TripAdvisor and went to Open Table to book this incredible evening. Restaurant is located in the Paradisus Resort in the Hotel Zone and is easily gotten to with a local taxi. (Bus stop is pretty far away as the resort sits quite a distance from road). Don't even open the menu...just order the tasting menu with... More

Positives: Great décor, not crowded, good white glove service, romantic (I got a rose at the end). Price was reasonable for fine dining at $65 for tasting menu. I loved their truffle butter. Negatives: My husband had a steak and I had the tasting menu. While the plating was very pretty, the food taste was just ok. Service was slow.... More

We stayed at Paradisus Cancun on the Royal Service package. Even though this restaurant wasn't included in our package, it was worth the extra charge (about $30/pp). They had a special "champagne dinner" that night with 7 courses, each paired iwth Champagne, but if the "regular" menu is anything like our dinner, it would not disappoint. Two of our courses... To start with they were not the most friendly bunch. Try to steer you to the 10 course meal instead of what your want. Plus i booked on opentable and they didnt acknowledge we showed for our reservation. Lastly, we were the only people in the resterant.

This was an excellent choice for my birthday. Tempo was just an amazing gastronomical experience! We are both vegetarian and were excited about the vegetarian tasting menu. Be warned, the dishes may look small but they are packed with flavor and after 11 courses you are very full. We did the wine tasting which was worth it, especially the red... More

I visited Tempo with my boyfriend, we are a young couple and we were very dressed up! However, we felt as though we were not taken seriously enough and looked down upon for being a young couple. We have eaten at a lot of high end restaurants in London so we had high expectations for Tempo. Upon arrival there wasn't... More

Tempo is an exceptional culinary experience! I rarely treat myself to fine dining so when I do I have high standards. Tempo exceeded them. The flavor combinations are as artful as the presentation. We ordered the tasting menu, which comes with a wine pairing that is as exceptional as the food. Special thanks to the sommelier for his deep knowledge... More

The entire experience at the restaurant was thoroughly enjoyable. The food was excellent, creative and surprisingly very affordable for the high quality. I live in Cancun and have been to many of the fine dining establishments but what sets this restaurant apart in my opinion is the amazing wine pairing. I had the tasting menu with the wine pairing and... More
