We didn’t expect to find such a beautiful restaurant while we were visiting Cancun! Tucked away from all the craziness - it’s located in the perfect, quiet & secluded place. The food was amazing- I recommend the aguachile or ceviche. The service was amazing, everyone...was extremely attentive to us. The beach was quiet and private. We walked along the dock next to the beach- the water was so warm. Giving this place a huge 5 star! Big thumbs up. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.More

This is a very recommended place to eat Mexican seafood. More y Carolina were our servers and they were the best. This is a traditional seafood place that you can’t afford to miss while in Cancun.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting the local ruin, which is a short walk away. Extensive menu, great service. The four of us all had dishes which were excellent. I strongly recommend a visit to this great local place.

We recently had lunch here with two other couples on a sunny, warm Monday afternoon. We sat outside on the beach with our toes in the sand. We started with guacamole and ceviche, both excellent, washed down with ice cold beer and tasty sangria. Each...couple ordered a fish entre to share, and no one was disappointed. It was one person's birthday. The staff brought out a wonderful dessert and sang Happy birthday. This was our first visit here, but all agreed it needed to be an annual visit. The food was excellent, the service wonderful, and the location absolutely breathtaking. Note: It is not easy to get there from the hotel zone. We attempted to take a combination of city buses and taxis on our "adventure". Getting there was fairly easy, but the return trip ended up being very expensive. Next time we will take a taxi from the resort and arrange for the driver to pick us up. I hear it is very busy in the evenings and on the weekends.More

This is a beautiful restaurant located on the beach in Cancun, but not in the Hotel Zone. It’s definitely worth visiting. The place is large and airy, painted in white and bright yellow; the architecture reminds me of something you might find in Key West....They specialize in seafood and it’s very fresh. They have tanks with live clams, oysters and lobsters. The oysters were HUGE! They also have a refrigerated room with seafood displayed on ice that you can choose from. We came in for lunch and had some raw oysters and drinks, but it was such a beautiful place and the oysters were so good that we came back for dinner. For dinner, we had oysters Rockefeller, chocolate clams au gratin, New England clam chowder and fish cakes. They were all great except the clam chowder, which had too much cream. We finished with a crème brûlée which was creamy and delicious. We washed it down with some margaritas and finished with espressos. The bill only came to $81 US (cheap, huh?). Service was also excellent and the margaritas were good too. Valet parking is available. Menus are available in English as well as Spanish. Check in on Yelp and get a free cocktail.More

We were very impressed by the level of service. The head chef came to our table to explain how the dipping sauces were made. An obvious pride in in trthe dishes served. Very reasonably priced. Don’t believe the cab prices quoted by the staff at...the Villa Del Palmar. It does not cost $10.00 to get to this restaurant. Walk down to the street and negotiate a price yourself. We paid $5.00. It is well worth it and will provide some variety from the hotel fare.More

I don’t see how anyone gave this place a good review on food quality. They food is borderline uneatable. The venue is old and their prices are inexpensive. Cheap and rightfully so.

My wife and I visited Flamingos on Feb. 21, 2020. I came upon Flamingos while searching online for a Playa Majeres area restaurant that serves coconut shrimp, my wife’s favorite. This is a remote area north of Cancun, so there are not a lot of...options. We made a reservation the day before. Flamingos was a very pleasant surprise. The restaurant is large and open-air. For a Friday evening, it was not very busy. There are tables outside on the beachfront, but most are covered within the building. It is very clean with bright interior colors. Aquariums display potential dinner options. We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer and coconut shrimp for the main course. All were excellent. Tortilla chips were served beforehand with a variety of dipping sauces, which were excellent. Our wait staff, Luis and Ernesto, were all very friendly. The live music was a nice touch to a very nice evening out at Flamingos.More

Flamingos is a beautiful oceanside restaurant north of Cancun. Bright and white inside with beach seating . Too windy the night we went to sit outside. The food was great, and the service was attentive. Being able to see your seafood choices on ice in...a cold room was innovative. The only drawback is the distance from the hotel zone. Overall we had a great time at Flamingos!More
