Not in the turistic area of Cancun, still not cheap but neither overpriced. They had some beers from a local producer in Puerto Morelos and that is something to try. They could maybe explain to foreigners that the speciality is "cooked" in lime, not grilled or anything else, but they were very opened to take the dish back to the... More

We were greeted right away and sat with Alba. She didn't speak a lot of English but was great at understanding our broken Spanish! The food was small portions except for my Hugo's rice! It was an amazing seafood fried rice with shrimp, octopus, and squid! I have enough days left in my trip to get it again and will... More

Located next to the Nichupte Ave. this restaurant is good for typical mexican seafood. Therir speciality is "aguachiles" a seafood preparation very tasty but watch out the chile. Any seafood is good, tasy and well prepared. Try the shrimp or conch with octopus ceviche.

The menu is very well designed and the caguamas in a bucket are a super cool touch. I feel the building needs a re-touch to maintain the relaxed feeling but still fell like you are in a new place. They need to watch for the tostadas not to be soft when they

We were immediately bombarded with a waiter named Marcos. He was friendly and suggested alcoholic drinks, which we didn't want, but he insisted that we "try them". We assumed they were free. He then "suggested" some other things, and they also appeared on the table. When we got the check, all the items were charged to us. We didn't ask... More

El Mar Sobrosa was my very favorite but now it is the food truck park. All my friends had said, if you liked El Mar Sobrosa you should go Los Aguachilies. I was not disappointed. I sampled the shrimp & octopus ceviche, guacamole (loved the accompanying seasoned chips), a fresh raw tuna tostado, an octopus tostado and a shrimp tostadao.... More

Delicious fresh seafood. No AC but the place stays cool and the waiters are very professional and friendly. You won't be disappointed if you like mexican style seafood.
