We tried this based on the reviews we read and since it was just down the street from where we are staying. Edgar was our waiter and became our friend. He really took the time to get to know us and made each of our visits very personable. Now the food. Awesome! Very authentic. Each night that we went there... More

Great food! Great drinks! Great people! We found Tacun to be accommodating providing good authentic Mexican food. A nice change from the big chains in the rest of the hotel zone.

We stayed close to this little gem and wish we had eaten there more! Never disappointed with the fresh local food! Best chile rellenos ever... and they're not even on the menu!

Tacun is a great little joint on blvd kukulcan right across from Flamingo mall. We were staying at the nearby flamingo resort and this was the first spot we tried out in Cancun since it was right next to our hotel. I loved the setting, basically a shack on a side lane right off the main Boulevard. Its open air... More

Hands down the best food and service I had while in the Hotel Zone in Cancun. If you find yourself in America, oops, I mean the Hotel Zone... and actually wanting to eat somewhere with authentic food instead of at yet another American chain (*gasp* imagine that!), then this is your place! Owner was very friendly, with a great sense... More

You can't go wrong. Get some margaritas and tacos and have a really good meal. Apple maps, Trip Advisor's map, and Google Maps had a really hard time nailing down the location of this place. Go to their website, which is a facebook page. It is across the street from the Flamingo Plaza (Mall) in the Hotel Zone on the... More

We walked from the JW Marriott to get here for lunch. If you're not a walker, then I'd suggest you take one of the numerous buses that go by. Anyway, small little place but they were so nice! Cadillac margarita was awesome! Fajitas were awesome! Wish we had time to go back!

Based on tripadvisor reviews and location convenient to our hotel, we decided to check out this place. Phenomenal fish for a modest price, perfectly prepared was a fantastic meal that we hadn't expected. And the price was excellent, too. A bonus- high quality t-shirt shopping and easy parking, right across the street.

The meat platter at this little place is the stuff of legend. It is composed of Chorizo, Pastor, Steak, and Chicken and all of it is fantastic! We stayed at a condo right next to this little outdoor place and we had breakfasts, lunches, and dinners there. The breakfasts were really good and everything was very fresh. You really feel...
