Tacos, enchiladas, and guacamole were all delicious! The staff was very nice and hospitable, and the mariachi band was a nice touch! Oh, and the margaritas were on point too!

Food was very good - loved the homemade tortillas, fish and fajitas very tasty. Corn chowder was fabulous. My daughter had a ginormous virgin mango and coconut margarita - mmm. Dessert fritters (churros) gone in one minute flat. Mariachi band played requests and a table magician made the night a hit for the kids. I left with a clever little... More

The service was exceptional!! Our servers where Jorge and Juan and they where class acts and accommodated us at anything we asked of them. The food was delicious and well presented. Can't wait to go back!!

I admit up front to being initially a bit taken aback by the decor and atmosphere. I thought I had walked into the Cancun version of El Rodeo along the Carlisle Pike in Pennsylvania. Everything was over the top. It was a lot to take in at once, especially having eaten rather upscale the two previous nights. I instantly feared... More

This is a good familiar place, the service was good and friendly. The Margaritas were one of the best in town, about the food not too many options, I did try cazuela, too greasy for me, but with good taste. In general terms good place to share with family, with Mariachi, a little bit expensive but is the Cancun effect.

The best meal I had on our last night in Mexico. Food and ambience authentic old world Mexican. My dish with octopus, squid, shrimp, fish and a few more dilectable things from the sea was amazing. Cooked in unique spices the normally tough things like octopus and squid melted in my mouth. My wife and daughter also said it was... More

This was one of the highlights of my trip! This restaurant was included on the All Inclusive package at the Krystal Cancun, and we went there one night to try it out. Food is insanely good, the waiters are all kind and easygoing, and they have mariachis to make things a bit more fun! Have a taste of the margaritas... More

My daughter and I ate at Hacienda el Mortero last night. We both enjoyed our food. I had the cactus salad and the fish of the day. The salad was fresh and flavorful, the fish was cooked perfectly. My daughter's fajitas were also very good . Our server, Juan, was friendly and helpful. They didn't sell the wine I wanted... More

Walked up, we'd like a table - do you have a reservation? No we don't, eye roll, sat us at an outlier table & place was half filled (whatever). Waiter took 10 mins to greet us, took our drink orders & sold us on the special. Everything good, food comes, looks great......45 mins later our waiter finally returns and is... More
