Ah Cacao is a quick walk across the street from the Westin Lagunamar. My favorite daily ritual was a double latte with a couple pieces of chocolate con leche. Sometimes staff pass out samples of chocolates as you enter the cafe. A good stop for a little pick me up. Staff is friendly and speak English. Chiapas Mexican coffee has... More

Ah Cacao has the best frozen chocolate ice/gelato. Also good coffee and chocolate drinks. We visited daily in 6 days for the chocolate ice.

My boyfriend and I went on this trip and the ONLY thing he requested was good coffee daily. We traveled along the entire RIviera Maya and this was the best coffee! So delicious and the chocolate was so tasty! I got some gelato to go with my morning coffee and I was in heaven:)

This is our favorite place and we wish we had it in the US. We love the natural ingredients! Our kids' favorite was the vanilla frappe. So much better than Starbucks! This is where the natural ingredients come through (our daughter has various allergies so I have seen the ingredient list at Starbucks-mostly artificial ingredients). They also have soy and... More

This is half cafe half store. There is a small seating area outside where you can people watch and sip your hot chocolate. Inside the store you can take home items and other souvenirs. Worth checking out for a few mins if you are in the La Isla Mall.

I was suffering serious coffee withdrawal and happened across this lovely shop. My husband ordered the traditional Mexican hot chocolate and I had a large cappuccino. We were treated to samples of chocolate while we waited(delicious)by the the charming young barrista and answered our questions about local attractions etc. It was a nice respite while shopping. Gracias. Capp and cocoa... More
