Beautiful restaurant, with excellent food and wonderful, professional service. Upscale dining. We've eaten there about 50 times over the years. Quiet, elegant with tableside preprations. Ceasar salad is the best.

Gave it 3 stars because 2 out of 4 weren't crazy about their meal. I on the other hand had a great meal , Caesar salad and filet. Although our waiter wasn't pushy, staff wanted us to leave asap although half the room was empty. Example: My sister in law was still eating and staff asked me if I was... More

My wife ordered the Caprese Salad, which the menu said came with Buffalo Mozzarella. What arrived seemed more the garden supermarket variety (hard, tasteless and shiny). I ordered the NY Strip medium rare. It arrived medium rare, which was great. It lacked, however, the nice charring you typically get at steakhouses and instead was an unappealing gray with scant char... More

Went here one night with my girlfriend while we were staying at the Royal Sands. The food was great, but the best part of the night was the dessert when you order the specialty coffee. They bring over a little cart and put on a show by igniting an alcohol of your choice and pouring it into coffee while doing... More

I ate here twice in the past two weeks and each time was a great experience. The seafood dishes are outstanding and the wait staff is gracious and attentive. An added bonus is the guitarist who accompanies the meal.

My first time at this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Food, wine and service is all top notch. Make sure to order both the salad for two and the dessert as they are made table side and just like entertainment.

We have been visiting Cancun for several years at the Royal Resorts. We usually make it a point to eat one night at the El Conquistador at the Royal Islander. We love this restaurant; the food is a great value for fine dining. We always enjoy the live music provided by Jorge Duran. Tonight the meal exceeded our expectations. Angel... More
