A beautiful menu selection for appetizers. French Onion Soup delish. Escargot "out of this world". Filet Mignon has 7 choices for flavor. So tasty. Salmon and chicken available. Lemon Pie is a nice ending or Creme Brûlée. Indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations recommended. Excellent service and music.

VIsited here with a friend from the US that spends the winter in Cancún. He was keen to take us on a Saturday night when his jazz singer friend sang. Oh my word the food was to die for and as we are from Europe this restaurant more than matched any Michelin star restaurant at home. Cannot believe we never... More

Once again we had the chance to visit L'escargot, my wife, my daughter and her husband We started with onion tartalette brought to the center to share Some great onion soups, two more than generous filets, one with green peppercorns the other with a sauce that's the signature of the house I had the tongue with vinaigrette and my wife... Two friends and I enjoyed a superb meal at l'escargot last night. We were celebrating the birthday of one in our trio. The food was outstanding and the service was warm and efficient. Bread is served with delicious butter and a very garlicky aioli. For appetizers, we ordered the French cheese assortment, which was terrific and presented beautifully, and the... More

Recommended by local friends we decided to give it a try despite the fact that we are quite spoiled by the likes of the Union League in New Haven, Chantal's in LA and Lion d.oOr in DC. Well let me tell you that the L'Escargot did not disappoint. The French onion soup is lite and delicious with crusty bread and... More

We live in Cancun and have eaten here many times over the years. Firstly, the owner and daughter are delightfully nice people, anything to the contrary is honestly ridiculous. The restaurant is cozy, romantic and clean. It has the big advantage of having a French menu, which is hard to find in Cancun. The prices are reasonable, much less than... More

We had a wonderful meal here during our recent visit to Cancun. We had 7:00 reservations on a Friday and the place was pretty empty when we arrived. They had a live jazz singer, but she didn't start until about 9:00. The locals started arriving around 8:00 and the place was full by the time the singer started. We were... More

My local friends introduced me to L'escargot. It was one of the best French meals I have experienced. Started with French Onion Soup, escargot and Filet w/Gorgonzola. The bread is amazing and too hard to resist. I am looking forward to returning in future visits. We enjoyed listening to the female singer who sang romantic soft tunes of the Tony... More

If you're a foodie, then get away from the mediocre hotel zone restaurants, and venture into Cancun. This place is amazing. My wife and I had steak tartar, a 10 oz filet, a bottle of wine, dessert, and espresso for a grand total of $75....including 20% tip! You MUST dine here while in Cancun.

This is a very quaint French restaurant. Eat inside or out. Live Jass Fridays. Start with escargot served French style with lots of garlic butter and herbs. Follow with several choices of Chateaubrian and sauces or try the Fillet St Vincent. The fish is fresh and well cooked. They make their own bread and will sell you a loaf or... More
