Wonderful seafood in a gorgeous setting topped off with an interpretive dance floor show that represented aspects of Mayan culture and history. Loads of fun.

We've been there before and had a fantastic meal. This time was less than good. The grouper special that was supposed to not be spicy was waaay too hot and hardly edible. When food gets too spicy it doesnt matter what you call it...the meat...More

My daughter and I stopped in for lunch after seeing the star rating. I must say this was the BEST food and service I experienced in Cancun. We enjoyed an appetizer, dessert for two and coffee for under $100. This is a fine dining establishment...More

We were sitting at the bottom of the stairs and had a nice table with a view on the show. Unfortunately, we soon realised how very cold it was inside due to the air conditioning. We requested several times to put it lower but this...More

Upon recommendation from several locals, we decided to visit La Habichuela Sunset as we were looking for some authentic Mexican food. The staff is very friendly and inviting. The seating area is smaller than you would expect, but had ample room for our group. The...More

Hi rgn1279. I'm not sure on the children's menu. Though I'm not sure how old they were we did see kids eating there. Aside from steaks and seafood (which includes deep fried coconut shrimp), their menu does have poultry... More

Hello!!! We have an appetizer of 3 small tamales. 1 with lobster, 1 with shrimp and 1 with duck. They are a little different from traditional chicken tamales. But very tasty!!!

Description
La Habichuela Sunset
Surpasses your expectations.
Welcome: A unforgettable sunset awaits you.
They say its a museum turned into a restaurant. Aside from its bold and modern arquitechture, the ambiance is based on the mayan culture with the intent of giving our customers a unique experience surrounded by masks of ancient kings, a 9 meter mayan column from floor to ceiling and a 30 meter hand carved kukulkan wooden snake. Our open garden area next to the lagoon allows you to dine with the stars and the moon.
But our biggest pride being our exquisite dishes, from traditional yucatecan recipes to sophisticated caribbean/mexican fusions. We have a vast variety of international wines as well as national.
We follow and maintain our founders philosophy of providing prompt and detailed service since 1977.
Dont miss our mayan rituals shows during the week that will transport you in time to the ancient mayan civilization.
