We went on a Wednesday since they had a free Mayan show. the food was excellent, I had the Grouper which had 2 sauces on the plate and a vegetable - the best fish I ever tasted. If you stay at the Westin Lagunamar, ask for the free Mayan coffee - it's great! Would go back again several times if... More

My family of four have a wonderful evening here. The show was a great entertainment and introduction to Mexican history, culture and dance. My two teenage boys loved the show. The staff were absolutely wonderful. My boy is in a wheelchair, and the staff carried him down the stairs on a chair! The food was excellent and the portions generous.... More

We mainly went here for the terrace. We sat outside which was nice, but the view is blocked by plants and moored boats. We skipped appetisers, Food was ok, cocktails very good. Service very good. Not a negative experience but we were expecting more.

Very attentive staff. The food was good - not outstanding - but good. The night we were there they had a Mayan 'show' - the history of the Mayans. It was interesting and something different than you probably have seen. Would go back.

We had reservations which we booked online. We were greeted and seated immediately. Top notch professional service. Had our picture taken, bought the one without the frame for a better price. Awesome view, ambiance and décor. Mango margarita was delicious. I ordered the house special, it was good, not great, but good. Tip was not included on our bill. Which,... More

Good food but found the staff to be quite overbearing due to the outside seating areas being closed ,so more staff to serve less areas. Tip included automatically which we find rude ,I thought the customer decided depending on food and service ?????

My husband & I had gone to Chichen Itza & Coba, so we appreciated the Mayan decor and dishes even more. Try the Mayan coffee!

Lovely Restaurant, Great Show, nice food and AMAZING service. The manager (Juan, I think) took a genuine interest in why I had not finished my meal ( had a big lunch).

La Habichuela Sunset
Surpasses your expectations.
Welcome: A unforgettable sunset awaits you.
They say its a museum turned into a restaurant. Aside from its bold and modern arquitechture, the ambiance is based on the mayan culture with the intent of giving our customers a unique experience surrounded by masks of ancient kings, a 9 meter mayan column from floor to ceiling and a 30 meter hand carved kukulkan wooden snake. Our open garden area next to the lagoon allows you to dine with the stars and the moon.
But our biggest pride being our exquisite dishes, from traditional yucatecan recipes to sophisticated caribbean/mexican fusions. We have a vast variety of international wines as well as national.
We follow and maintain our founders philosophy of providing prompt and detailed service since 1977.
Dont miss our mayan rituals shows during the week that will transport you in time to the ancient mayan civilization.
