Every time I visit La Dolce Vita I am amazed that a restaurant can deliver exceptional service and wonderful food so consistently, year after year. Every possible detail is anticipated and delivered with class. The fresh tuna Special encrusted with sesame seeds was outstanding (and generously portioned). Limoncello for dessert was amazing. I will continue to visit La Dolce Vita... More

We always visit this restaurant at least once while we are in Cancun. Never disappoints! Veal piccata was excellent. My husband ate pasta with crabmeat and he absolutely loved it. The owner is very gracious and always gives you a warm welcome.

Due to flight issue, we had to stay at downtown Cancun for one night before checking into Hardrock Cancun on the following date. We did not know anything about downtown Cancun and also did not do much research before our trip. After we had checked in a hotel at downtown Cancun, I began searching restaurant in the downtown core. I... More

We found this restaurant on tripadvisor, and I when I checked out their web site, discovered they offered gluten-free options. They went out of their way to provide me with everything gluten-free (home-made breads, pasta, even g-f pizza is available). Both of our dinners were exceptionally good. We will definitely go back before leaving Cancun. Everyone, from wait staff to owner,... More

Made a reservation because, walking by in the evenings, the restaurant was always full. Service was great - we had several waiters. We were served complimentary bruschetta and after dinner cordials. Two kinds of bread were put in the table: a garlic bread and a cheesy bread (tasked like a Cheez it!). We had chicken parm, a staple in any... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in al of Cancun. The owner is around to offer suggestions of what Fish has been brought in that day. Everything is fresh and delicious. For those with food restrictions they will custom cook your meal. I had the fish stuffed with large pieces of shrim and baked in puff pastry with the... More

We visited here recently based on TA reviews and confirmed by another couple at our resort. The food and service were excellent. The bruschetta appetizer was fresh and very flavorful. I didn't find it to be heavy on the garlic as some reviewers had mentioned. We also loved the pesto bread. What a great way to blend Italian and Mexican... More

Our family found this little gem last year and couldn't wait to return. The service and food were very good. There were quite a few of us so we tried many things on the menu and nothing disappointed. From the complimentary bruschetta, the great pizza and the mouth watering osso bucco dinner was delicious! We tasted several pasta dishes as... More

We dined here twice in 2 weeks and will go back every time we go to Cancun. The owner is always there and is very friendly. The wine is good as is everything else I've ordered.

Since 1983 La Dolce Vita Centro has been consistently rated as one of the top restaurants in Cancun, serving fresh seafood and homemade pasta, owned and operated by Tim Savio and Juan J. Casal. Dolce Vita means "Sweet Life" in Italian and that is how an evening here will make you feel. Our loyal clientele highly recommend the award winning signature dish Boquinete Dolce Vita, a local snapper topped with shrimp and mushrooms, enclosed in puff pastry, and served with lobster sauce. The service is refined and friendly, and dinner specials change daily to match the season. Ourdiverse wine list from around the world complements the dinner. La Dolce Vita is an ideal setting for small groups, business functions, parties, rehearsal dinners and other special events. Dress code: Casual, no cut off shirtsleeves for gentlemen. Private parking and free valet parking service.
