It was our first restaurant in Mexico and after that we were thinking we wouldnt eat out anymore since the food was bad and the reviews so good.. pizza tasted like any pizza you can get from freezer and pasta with vegetables didnt have any taste. Luckily we have found many good restaurants since that day during our stay.

The rest was disappointing. Main dishes are little out dated. The red snapper which was offered as special of the day came swimming in a sauce.

My brother frequents this restaurant each time he is in Cancun. He told me I could not leave without at least one visit here. I wish we had gone the first night because we wouldn't have been there just once. It was certainly a highlight of the week. I never would have thought to visit an Italian restaurant in Mexico,... What a great meal we had here! The thin-crust pizzas were just perfect, and so were the appetizers. The waiters did a fine job with their excellent service that made us feel at home. We will definitely be coming back to La Dolce Vita!

Elegance and Ambiance far beyond the cost. Warm friendly and professional staff. Food is excellent. A Hidden Gem in Cancun. Outshines all other restaurants we found so far in Cancun.

Don’t be put off by the look of this place or its location. The food here is excellent and the attention to detail superb. Our waiter couldn’t have more attentive & helpful. Unlike other places we visited, they leave the tipping up to you, why, because they deserve a good tip - look this place up, you won’t regret it!

A touch of old Mexico! Our annual trip is not complete without a stop to see Juan and eat delicious stone crabs! The complimentary after dinner rolling cart finish off a great meal! Fabulous attentive staff!

If you looking for good Italian food with great service, go downtown to La Dolce Vita. Dining here is like stepping back in time when great service and great food reigned over an evening of fine dining as opposed to just going out to get something to eat. Shortly after being seated, we were presented with a small bruschetta, complementary.... More

This our favorite restaurant in Cancun. We have been coming back every year for the last 15 years. Located off the beaten path in downtown Cancun. The restaurant is quiet, food is excellent and service is five star. We always order the stone crab appetizer. The crab is fresh caught that day, best stone crab in Cancun. The owner Juan... More

Since 1983 La Dolce Vita Centro has been consistently rated as one of the top restaurants in Cancun, serving fresh seafood and homemade pasta, owned and operated by Tim Savio and Juan J. Casal. Dolce Vita means "Sweet Life" in Italian and that is how an evening here will make you feel. Our loyal clientele highly recommend the award winning signature dish Boquinete Dolce Vita, a local snapper topped with shrimp and mushrooms, enclosed in puff pastry, and served with lobster sauce. The service is refined and friendly, and dinner specials change daily to match the season. Ourdiverse wine list from around the world complements the dinner. La Dolce Vita is an ideal setting for small groups, business functions, parties, rehearsal dinners and other special events. Dress code: Casual, no cut off shirtsleeves for gentlemen. Private parking and free valet parking service.
