We ate at this restaurant as part of our all inclusive package at our hotel. I had high expectations are reading all the reviews. Yet sadly I was disappointed. Food was okay. Service was very quick. Too quick even. Main was our within just a few minutes of finishing the entree. It's super hot inside as there are only ceiling... More

Have been here about 6 times. Not as good as previous visits. Was first seated next to where they have the Mexican Fiesta party on Monday? Asked to be reseated, and they moved us to a table in between a table of 12 and a table 10. Was not romantic, was very noisy. Service was slow, not too friendly. They... More

This restaurant was a great addition to our all inclusive plan at the Royal Sands resort some of the entrées and drinks have a surcharge. We really enjoyed the ambience, sunset and the servers were great. Food was good too but not extra ordinary! We went around 730 pm and it was a bit warm to sit outside even it... More

We ate here on our first night in Cancun. I was pleasantly surprised to call about 4PM and have a choice of several times to choose from that evening. We chose a 7:00 reservation to be able to enjoy the sunset. The view was beautiful, but we wished that we had sat inside, as it was so hot! The food... More

We arrived for dinner. Make sure you wear sleeved shirt, no tank top. The food was very good but very expensive. The view was lovely and we did get to see one of the alligators swim by.

This is a very nice to visit for any meal of the day, or just a drink. The staff were very friendly and the mimosas we ordered were delicious. This would be a great place to see the sunset. Next time we will go for the buffet.

Beautiful setting. Can sit outside and watch the most gorgeous sunsets overlooking the bay. Most likely Pancho a huge crocodile will come and visit while you are eating. Food is great. They specialize in seafood dishes.

Good food and amazing sunset. I had the tuna steak and it was perfect. My aunt had the Three shrimp dinner but found it disappointing. It was all fried and a little dry.

This is a romantic place to enjoy dinner on the water at night. The seafood, candlelight and sunset over the lagoon make Captain's Cove a must on our list of places to go in Cancun each year!
