Good location with a nice view of the lagoon. Unfortunately, the menu has been the same and unmodified since I know the restaurant years ago. In general the food is good but very standard with average taste, nothing surprisingly, nor fancy. Then, if I consider options of Mexican food restaurants in the area, this one prices are quite high. So,... More

We went there yesterday afternoon. I wanted to give 3 stars but my wife said it was worth 4. Pricey for what they served.

We really enjoyed our meal at La Destileria the other night. Drinks were great. Poloma's are poured right at your table. We started with flaming cheese with fresh tortillas, and tableside guacamole. Both were great. 4 of us ordered the Molcajete's with shrimp, beef and chicken, and the fifth had the steak with avocado sauce. We all enjoyed what we... More

We ate at this restaurant twice during our short stay in Cancun. The food was amazing and service to match. If you like the mariachis, as we do, then this is an added bonus. The first visit I ordered mole poblana con pollo. The chicken breast was perfect and the mole was cooked just right, nothing too overpowering. The second... More

My boyfriend and I were referred to this restaurant by our front desk agent at our hotel. The decoration is exactly that of a distillery, very entertaining and beautiful to look at. We ordered two drinks (I can't recall the name now) and were pretty strong and tasty all in one. We decided to sit outside for the view but... More

Even though this was recommended by our hotel, I was less than impressed by this place. Food is by no means terrible, but it's poor value and could easily score much higher. The only truly good part of the dinner was the guacamole and the kid's meal. The sangritas for the tequila had to be insisted on, but other than... More

We really had a good time here. The employees were helpful, professional and entertaining. The food, in general, was pretty good. My "bullshot" steakwas a large portion of tasty, tender tenderloin, nicely prepared, complex delicious sauce. But served as is with a side of mashed potatoes. No veggies or garnish. Again, as is. The ribeye molcajete was delicious, flavorful with... More

Our whole family enjoyed the food, and both music and magic tricks done by staff at our table. We love the family photo they made and put on a full tequila bottle and brought to our table- only $20 USD/ 340 MXD. There were a few unforgettable dishes we had that were like no other on our week long trip:... More

Very lively atmosphere - not only one mariachi band but 2 groups roaming the interior and exterior areas and playing. Make sure to bring some cash to tip them!! The food was very good and staff great on answering any questions we had. We would definitely return.

Dinner at 5.30 with 4,8,14 year olds. Good and service was amazing. A truly Mexican experience, with great atmosphere and views. We asked the staff which were the most popular dishes and ordered accordingly. Not disappointed one bit. Guacamole made and served at the table was fun to watch and delicious! Wine menu a little limited, but overall, highly recommended.
