As soon as we arrived in Taxco after visiting the Cacahuamilpa Caves, this young kid approach us and asked if we need a good restaurant and he tooks us to Flor de la Vida. Great view to Santa Prisca Cathedral the waiter was excellent, they have a live duet, I really enjoy my Tampiqueña plate,.. with 1 green enchilada ,... More

I have been at the restaurant twice within four months period. I liked the restaurant because of its location right in front of Santa Prisca. The view from the tables is superb!, The building is multistories , probably six to eigth floors, its doors connect the main square with a back ally. The place is clean and the food is... More

They have a very nice terrace and the menu offers several choices. The food is delicious and the price is fair. I had enchiladas de mole which were big and really tasty. I also recommend to try the 'queso cilantro' definitely a must try!

Top floor, great terrace, amazing views. Food was excellent - try fried cactus with spring onion, Mexican cured beef and fajitas! Milton (waiter) provided outstanding service and a really nice guy. Also collects foreign coins so if you have anything from home - take them with you!

The restaurant offers a very good overall "package" as you can taste some very nice Mexican food and drinks while relaxing yourself to the magnificent view of Santa Prisca Church, Taxco`s central park and a lot more! The menu offers a wide selection of domestic dishes and service is excellent.

We have eaten here several times over the years and it is a good place to eat mexican food. Our favorite was the curry chicken.

The view was great but the food was the worst that I had in Mexico. The tampiquena tasted and looked that reheated food. The fideo soup was sour, rice and chicken had no flavor at all. I would not recommend this place all. It was a total disappointment especially for the prices we paid

We had dinner at La Flor de la vida April 5, 2014. It was our first trip to Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico. Being that my husband and I are Vegan, the kitchen made special arrangements to making our dinner 100% to our liking. We ordered the Molcajete made up of completely Vegetables. They brought back a MASTERPIECE! They put Grilled Broccoli,... More

We were there for lunch on a beautiful (there is no other kind in this part of Mexico) day in February and we were the only diners on the rooftop. It IS a hike up the stairs but truly worth it! The wine was excellent (unusual for Mexico) and the food was too. We had an Italian dish and a... More

We recently had dinner here during a visit in Taxco one evening. This restaurant had great potential due to its excellent location in the zocalo and views of the church, however the service for us was lacking. We had a great location outside at the very top, but the power went out for about 5 minutes. This wasn't a huge... More
