I had a quinoa entrée that was they; most delicious dish ever tasted. My brother had smoky cheese pasta and we shared a mushroom appetizer. Service was fabulous.

My wife and I shared each course. The presentation was beautiful, the service excellent and the food delicious. The wine was one we had never heard of called Skin Barbera. Wonderful.

Don't confuse this restaurant with Casa Lum on the walking street Real de Guadalupe: this is Restaurant Lum. It's wise to email for a dinner reservation on the weekend as the number of tables is limited. Formal, slightly distant, very professional service. Excellent food preparation...More

We loved the atmosphere, service and food! Best breakfast in town! Prices are good too. I recommend the huevos Oaxaca or huevos Bo and the fruit platter.

Food was good. Decoration was stylish. We were seated by a gentle and smiling lady. But the service by waiters can be improved. All they cared was removing your plate as soon as you finish your dish. When the time came to pay, the waiter...More

Restaurant Lum features a relaxed atmosphere, space for larger groups, and excellent service. The four cheese soup is absolutely outstanding, and the menu features a wide variety of Mexican dishes. We enjoyed our dinner with Mexican wine from Baja California!

Hello Gourmetde... The Lum Restaurant prices are above average for San Cristobal. Expect to pay more than $300 pesos per person without drinks. I wish you a great experience in San Cristobal.

LUM, which in Tzotzil means earth, is an inviting place that reflects the colors of San Cristóbal de las Casas while paying homage to the three other classical elements that are essential to life: air, water and fire. At Restaurante Lum, we love to offer top quality and seasonal products that Mother Earth provides. Our restaurant is inspired by Mexican and global flavors. We look for products that are harvested in its prime. In our kitchen, we respect the intrinsic value of each ingredient and create original dishes that reference classic international flavors, aromas and textures while preserving and celebrating the distinct Mexican culinary culture. Our team brings to your table freshly made dishes and personalized service, reflecting our love and passion for food. Our objective is to create a memorable culinary experience and we hope that every dish tells you an enchanting story that delights each of your senses.
