I heard a lot of great things about this place but found the tlayudas to be average. Might have been an off night. Staff was great and food came out hot and quick. I guess it didn't match the hype.

I have visited this place several times throughout my 9+ visits to this wonderful Mexican state called Oaxaca. The food is excellent, the flavor reaches each and every one of your taste buds. The hot sauce may be too hot for some, but overall the...More

Welcoming place, local customers, huge plates (a bit heavy), as spicy as they promised :) A bit sadly empty for lunch, great atmosphere for dinner.

Place is a real hole I the wall. Cooking fires are in the street outside the building--so is the best table. Inside it's somewhere between basic and grungy. The tlayudas are excellent though--hot and big, juicy meat. The beer is cold. A good late-night stop...More

The food here was good but didn't knock my socks off. The tlayudas are something like 20 inches wide, so you'll definitely get enough to eat. The best thing about the restaurant was the smoky, casual, semi-local atmosphere.

Had heard good things but found the food very underwhelming. The tlyudas don’t have much flavor and the meat on top (which is strange itself) was very touch. We had much better street food elsewhere.

These were giant size, but not very interesting. Maybe, like some other say, they’re delicious when you’re drunk. They have delicious looking tlyudas at the Mercado 20 de Noviembre. I passed them up, and was expecting the same, not.

Read the reviews on TripAdvisor and it lived up to the hype. I was looking forward to grabbing a late night bite. The tlyuda was fresh and good. The waitstaff was nice, polite and attentive. It’s a place to grab good Tlyudas and a few...More

This is a tlyudas stand that serves its food from a stand on the street. The tlyudas are huge and tasty. I waited about 10 minutes for a to go order, but it was worth the wait!

You know that taco or burrito place you go to at 2 A.M. to soak up the booze before bed? This is that place, and frankly, if you are not in Oaxaca to eat at places like this, then I don’t know why you are...More
