Very enjoyable food - I had quesadillas and the stew - with good service. Good atmosphere later in the evening if full and bar/table seating available. Would recommend it to friends.

Casual atmosphere. Delicious and inventive dishes from local ingredients. The wait staff are very pleasant. I recommend not arriving the minute they open. Owner is very involved in the business and the community.

I had dinner here with friends on my last night in the wonderful Oaxaca- a bit of a celebration of meeting new friends and a re-union of old. It's hard to choose what to eat as there are so many interesting things on the menu. The staff are attentive. The food delicious. The Mezcal margaritas fabulous.

I have been here several times before over a period of years and each time the service seems to get worse. The venue is very cool and contemporary...and they do have great margaritas, have wanted to give it a 2nd / 3rd chance in case the bad service was a fluke, but it seems to be the norm. Impatient and... More

I was at Biznaga with a friend. I had been there a number of times but not to dine, only drink. She ordered 2 appetizers and I ordered Turista.....what a name, but I took my chances....I could be mistaken, but what I read on the menu, both in English & Spanish did not depict (to me) that I would be... Dinner at Biznaga was excellent! We ate there on Oct. 1 before the crowds descended on Oaxaca for Day of the Dead celebrations. The restaurant was very quiet and pleasant and the waiter attended to us right away. The wait for our food was quite long, but well worth it. My dinner was delicious and the portion so generous I... We found ourselves here a couple of times during our recent trip to Oaxaca. It was a reliable place to go when we didn't know what we wanted to eat, because there was a great selection on the menu. Everything was delicious! Good vegetarian options. We will be back next time we visit Oaxaca.

Not sure what delights most, the food or the amazing decor. This restaurant should be a must for everyone who comes to visit. We were there on a mild night so the canvas was pulled back so we could add the sky. Food oh my, delicious and beautifully served. Example are the duck tacos. The order has three tacos all... More

Excellent menu, delicious food, wine not so good, service slow and relaxed, very comfortable environment, ceiling opens up for lovely light and air, a place where you can sit and talk and really enjoy yourself and friends, staff most friendly, run by brothers, try the pulque and mezcal, and the black bean soup is out of this world, huachinango my... We had a meal here this evening, and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a good ambience, and the staff were helpful. Food was bursting with flavours, and the portions were generous (I had the Mil Chumbres). The menu has English translations, and one of the waiters spoke English so if your Spanish isn't too hot you'll be fine. The roof... More
