This was top 10 best restaurants I have ever eaten at, hands down. My reasoning is the following: Oaxaca has incredible access to product, all the fruit and vegetables taste their best, like they were just plucked from the tree a few steps away. Biznaga...More

This restaurant is not in the immediate Zócalo area of Oaxaca but it is not far to find. Well with it! Great staff. Friendly and helpful service. They aim to please. A lovely ambience with the open ceiling and Mexican decor. Food, wine and service...More

Not many restaurants say on the menu, " we are a slow service restaurant"- but this one does. Believe them. That said, surrounded by very nice shops, and in a convivial courtyard, they serve very good food. Fred had the chicken with guava sauce (...More

we really enjoyed this menu and the ambiance of the restaurant. They had run out of ceviche which was why we went there in the first place but everything else we tried was great. The mahi mahi was excellent!

Saturday 1pm, no greeting, surly service, only ok food, staff seemed distracted, no pretense even of trying to be cordial, not easy for food to counteract this environment, and it did not. Too many other warm, gracious, delicious restaurants in this city, pass this one...More

We stopped here a couple times for drinks . It’s simple and friendly . We never tried any food, but people around us seemed happy with what they were eating.

Good spot near the Templo de Santo Domingo. Lovely menu with many Oaxacan specialties, good beer and good music. They describe their service as slow but our food, on both occasions, arrived quickly. Art galleries surround the restaurant. Great service. Highly recommended.

This is one of the gems of Oaxaca, a magical city. Excellent food and a relaxed vibe. We were fortunate to be able to watch fireworks from our table in the beautiful patio. Best ceviche ever!
