I will echo some other comments about slow and indifferent service from the staff. They never delivered our guac. I really wanted a 2nd beer, and I even got up to go find someone, but they were too busy with a big table in back....Prices were a bit high when compared to similar spots. The only other negative for us was the car fumes from the street. Food was great, though. I had the Burrito Alambre and Ife had Tacos de Carnitas.More

The first visit I had fish tacos. Good size fish portions but very heavy on the sauce. The heat made me sweat all night and over powered the delicate fish. Next day brunch I had huevo motulenos which can be good but here was mushy...components with fresh crunchy peas. Crispy tortilla makes this dish good.My server also seemed grumpy or having an off day.More

Our favorite restaurant was closed, so this place had big shoes to fill. It rose to the occasion. The fish tacos were delicious and came with a mango salsa on the side that was out of this world. My friend's hurache was good, too, as...was her pozole. We also had queso fundido with chorizo that was yummy. The service could have been better (our food was staggered quite drastically), but they were very busy.More

This restaurant I don’t think deserves to be ranked 13 of all restaurants in Oaxaca. We ate a late lunch and sat in a small back patio space which was nice but the small garden was neglected - it would be easy to make it...much nicer. The menu seems relatively extensive. My partner liked his pozole dish but not his pork tacos..the meat was dry and the taco seemed to have little condiments . I had the shrimp soup and the broth was overly salty and fishy..maybe that is how it’s supposed to be but not to my liking. I also had a huarache and it was huge but the dough was too thich and undercooked and the toppings of pork meat was dry and not flavorful... would not recommend this restaurant.More

We have been back twice now in our 5 day stày in Oxaca and maybe we have not been hitting the right restaurants but great food spot on service. The Pozole is fantastic and they make a wicked Margarita. Mmmmm

We had three great lunches. I had a tostado with tiny squash on it (can’t remember Spanish word). Excellent. Many choices.

This is a good place for a full Mexican meal. All the dishes were well prepared and very tasty. Service was very good too.

Great food and service at Cabuche for lunch today. My partner had mole con pollo and I had a beef taco and we shared some guacamole. The sides were delicious. Great salsa verde. Everything was fresh and the price was ridiculously reasonable. Definitely recommended and...we plan on returning during our week in Oaxaca!More

We had the cactus Huaraches and pork taco here, both of which were delicious. The Huaraches was like a pizza if you haven't tried it before. They have plenty of vegetarian friendly options, which we appreciated. Overall good value, service and setting.

We ordered two salads, and later, one soup, plus beverages. We must have been there at least an hour and a half. The salads were nice and fresh and the soup (chicken) was good. But the service was extremely slow. We would have eaten more...but it was not clear whether that would mean we'd be there for another 90 minutes, so we paid and left. Clientele appears to be heavily American, at least the night we were there.More
