The red fruit tart is a must try - the coffee, ginger ale were good too. Will return to try their salads which looked amazing.

A hidden gem of Oaxaca. This unassuming place really made a great impression on me. It is very popular so you might end up waiting a bit but it is definitely worth it! Tortas and other dishes involving bread! Good coffee and service.

We were staying in Oaxaca for 5 days with 4 friends. There are lots of good restaurants there but we just wanted something low key and good for lunch. Boulenc was the perfect choice. The Ambiance is old world artsy, the service was friendly and...best of all the food was the Really really good. Super fresh, inventive and delicious. Just what we wanted for lunch. They had a nice selection from: hamburgers to great salads to handmade pizzas. We loved our experience at Boulenc. Don’t miss it when in Oaxaca City.More

Love this place sooo much! Tried numerous salads, pizzas, the veggie bahn mi, and tostadas- loved the presentation and quality of everything we tried. The cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks were equally inspiring! House Kefir w cardamom, robust Carajillo, and Mezcal cocktails💜 So much creative love...went into the design of this place...from the open roof, and wood fired oven to the repurposed sheet metal and wood. ...i spent a lot of $ here :)More

This was one of the best breakfasts that I had while in Oaxaca this March. Service was fast and reliable even if this restaurant was so busy. I was impressed. The seed pods hanging from the ceilings were really worth taking pictures of. The main...seed pod over the counter was amazing. Someone had made all of these and I was enamored with them as well as sitting on the upstairs terrace. We will remember this place very fondly.More

We shared a salad (kindly split in the kitchen) and a pizza and couldn't finish our meal. Both were very good. I wasn't too crazy about their drink options and had a very bitter hibiscus drink. Service was nice and efficient. The space we sat...in was gloomy and tight so I wouldn't give the place high marks for the experience. The bakery was pretty well picked over by the time we had our early dinner.More

Fabulous breads, pastries, homemade yogurt. THE go-to place in the city for artisanal bread. Rye is to die for.

Food and service are top notch. If you can’t get a table or don’t have time to wait, be sure to stop in their bakery next door for some tasty tidbits to go!

I’ve eaten at the restaurant 3-4 times, and always had an excellent experience. But, I didn’t realize they had a bakery right next door. I went twice today, had an incredible delicious croissant at lunch, and picked up a loaf of oatmeal/pumpkinseed sourdough this afternoon....Very high quality, and highly recommended.More
