The only reason I stayed was being I had arranged to have coffee and snacks there with a friend. As soon as we finished, I quickly headed out. I personally don't think it's appropriate to bring political opinions into a restaurant. Pro-Palestinian /Anti-Israeli posters "grace" a space which otherwise might have lead to a pleasant experience. But no, if you... More

A coffee house with good kitchen and very reasonable prices. We stopped in for simple dinner and had a burrito and panini with side order of french fries. Also a beer, glass of wine and sparkling water. (Total bill - 270 pesos.) Burrito very good with spinach tortilla and lots of white meat chicken. Delicious tortilla chips, made the old-fashioned... Visited Lobo Azul Cafe every day during a break from class at Espanol Interactivo. (It's right across the street.) Great place for a morning latte or lunch and a limonada.

I have to admit we visited this bar during the Christmas holiday, and probably the students crowds that must give a special ambience to the place was missing... it was only another couple and ourselves, and the staff did not seem very enthusiastic. Said that the food was Ok and the place itself has a quiet and easy going feeling... More

Lobo Azul is the place to go for easy WiFi, friendly wait staff, and an espresso. Waiters may or may not notice you, but you can find them easily. Not a wide selection of food, this place is a comfortable hangout with lots of great posters on the wall from movements and days gone by.

Perfect place to have an affordable meal and work/read/write. I'm heading back to the city for an extended stay in February 2016, and this will be one of my spots.

Low key. Food was good. No bottled water or pop but the beer and juice was good. Enjoyed it for lunch. Want to go back for breakfast

We ate several meals at the Lobo Azul Cafe during our 8 day stay in Oaxaca Citry. Coffee and service are both great. There are a lot of very interesting posters hanging on the walls and it makes for a nice athmosphere.

If you are looking for authentic coffee, great food and ambiance at any hour of the day this is the place. Love the open space, non pretentious vibe and customer service. You can't got wrong with the Lobo Azul special, chilaquiles or homemade pizza. Simply delicious. I really enjoyed the acoustic musician that happened to stop by when I was... More

Over the course of two years in Oaxaca, I was unable to find a place I liked more than Lobo Azul. The coffee, the food, the ambiance, the people... it's a place of beauty. They roast their own coffee, bake their own bread, buy ingredients locally, and support local artists and artisans. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a long... More
