This is good food quick bite. La hormiga (the name of their signature sandwich) is really good. I had a jugo de Jamaica here they don’t always give you straws and napkins

Sometimes during the day the food truck is near park, it's a favorite with locals for a reason, line up and order a torta, my chicken one was delicious, I dislike when tortas are dry but mine was good with added salsa

I have been getting tortas from La Hormigo for years. The variety available is almost limitless, they are filling, cheap, safe eats, and have had a local following for who knows how many years. It would be a crime to miss this opportunity. Can't wait for it to re-open after COVID-19.

This little place is so good. My husband and I split a Cuban sandwich and it was great. It was only 40 pesos. I wish we had tried it at the beginning of our trip because we would have come back again.

So good! Fast easy and affordable. We loved this place, the big sandwiches are enough to share between two people. Make sure to stock up on the pickles as well!

I had a sandwich with chorizo and cheese. It was outstanding and very filling. I sat on a bench in the park and people watched while I ate. Great value.

Located on one corner of the park in the north part of Oaxaca centro they sell tortas and that's pretty much it. Roast pork and the chorizo are both fantastic. You can get them for 'here' which means you get a plate (return it to the bins next to the truck afterwards) or to go in which case it comes in a paper bag. They usually have one beverage which may always be jamaica, if you don't want that there are other drink carts diagonally across the park.

Big stuffed sandwiches, and you can eat them on a bench in the park. Everything is made quickly. As is common in Oaxaca, no credit cards. They ask your name to call you when your sandwich is done, and you have to give them your receipt order when they hand you the sandwich! Hold onto it!

If you like street food then you need to check this place out!
They make tortas! That’s it. But with numerous types of fillings, all melted together with delicious gooey cheese!
Can highly recommend the chorizo and queso. All for the bargain price of 27 pesos!

This stand is always at the corner of Reforma and Gomez-Farias in the park. They offer a variety of sandwiches (tortas) and drinks. It is a pleasure to sit in the park enjoying your meal while watching the people who are also have a respite sitting and enjoying themselves.

Este tienda de tortas es mi favorito!
I always ordered ''queso y puerco'' and ''agua de jamaica''. The price was very kind for students like me. And all the staff worked hard with smiling. Sadly, I'm in Japan, but I'd really like to visit there again!

Wonderful, nicely toasted, tasty tortas. We stopped by twice, last dash on the way to the airport! Delicious fillings, and esp good spicy pickled veggies. Many people were eating two!

These guys work hard to provide the tourists with some nice tortas. Big variery of stuffings. All fresh, prepared on the spot. 20-40 pesos for a torta. Recommended if you are in Oaxaca near Parque El Llano.
