We had the Shrimp & Arracherra (skirt steak) so well seasoned, so tender! Delicious. Depending on the night, be prepared for a limited menu, i think they also had various kinds of chicken, but stuck to shrimp and beef. The aqua fresca was very good too. We also read that you can BYOB, which is true! Really nice atmosphere -just... More

Great food, great prices, great service. This is a small cash only restaurant with delicious fresh food. We had their fish of the day, and it was amazing! Someone at the next table was having a hamburger, and it looked really good, too. It's nothing fancy, but it's one of the best meals we had during our trip. I highly... More

Great value for money, good food and free lemon juice! Highly recommended if you want a break from the taco's.

We ate in and took out... Loved their mac and mushroom dish. Tiny restaurant, so the seating is limited. We took out because it was simpler. Reasonably priced and felt like home.

What an amazing, unpretentious place with outstanding food. We stumbled into this small corner restaurant where diners could not stop raving about the food. How right they were. We have dined at all the top places, Origen, casa oaxaca, pitiona, los danzantes, believe me none equals this small gem. Run before it is discovered and its 6 tables remain pack... More

Six of us went there and had an amazing meal. If you feel you want a break from Mexican this is a good place to get it. I ordered a hamburger. I usually only have burgers when I hear that it's a good one - I don't eat fast-food burgers and look for hand built and served rare. This one... More

If you enter the local you never think that you can eat such a great rib eye and some say the best hamburger of Oaxaca. The place is small with a few tables and could be a little bit cleaner. The chef is very enthusiastic with a tick of unsystematic but finally the food is leaving the kitchen. They don't... More

We've been going for years, and it is still the best hamburger, arracherra (skirt steak), and some of the best fish in town. Great prices and Carlos is a gem. Eat there, you'll love it!

Small, hole in the wall place that serves amazing, fresh, flavorful food. We each got the flank steak that hit the spot. They do not serve beer or wine and I don't know if you can BYO. We arrived around 5:30 and we were glad we did. People were waiting for a table shortly after that. By the time we... More

Small restaurants in Oaxaca, like any city, come and go, but this one will be here for a long time! The excellent, healthy food is prepared by a staff that amazingly, after all these years, takes real pride in their work. The food tastes wonderful, the setting is sweet and intimate, and the location is gorgeous. What more could you... More
