Really enjoyed our meal here. Relaxed atmosphere, lovely food, great with kids, and lots of choice for veggies.

If you feel like something other than Mexican food, this is the place. El Moroccan offers a charming atmosphere: mood lighting, some low tables and lounge-like seating but most importantly, excellent food. Try the moussaka or the cous cous; both delicious. Good service too.

This restaurant was great! We visited several times and all food was great. It was also suitable for out daughter as couscous was a great thing after a long time in Mexico. You should make sure to buy some starters, not least the humus (though I am not sure what the chilli does in it, but it was not too... More

We love Mexican food but our meal here was a welcome change of pace. Beautifully prepared, excellent service, reasonable prices, what is not to like?

We went here last night (actually looking for somewhere else). It was early and the restaurant was not too busy. We ordered the 'tabule' to share as a starter. It was delicately spiced, and very tasty - but more than we could manage. For mains we ordered the moussaka, and couscous with lamb (where else in Oaxaca can you find... More

This restaurant is moderately priced and a wonderful dining experience is offered. We walked by this restaurant after an En Via (also recommended) tour had been completed. The restaurant is comfortable and has a nice ambiance. I ordered the meal of the day (chicken and vegetable couscous). My wife ordered the pastilla and we both thought that it came pretty... More

A really lovely restaurant and a chance to get away from rice and beans. Lots of vegetarian choices and a good wine selection too. I would have like to have tried more of the dishes the other diners recommended.

needed a mid-priced meal in hotel area on our last night, and lucked into this great restaurant with authentic Moroccan food. Comfortable, less expensive than expected, excellent service, where we felt very welcome. Try the Moroccan Special meal 150 pesos. (Most expensive on menu). Good selection of different beers, and reasonable wine by the glass.

I stop in often at El Morocco, at least once a week. The afternoon 'menu del dia' is always a treat and a great deal with carefully chosen items prepared with flair and skill. The soups alone are worth stopping for. Today I savored the pastille, a delicious spiced meat stuffing inside a delicate filo dough wrap. This gorgeous gem... More

Wondered into el morrocco on a lazy Sunday evening, a nice and relaxing spot. Good beer and wine selection, the kebab was ok, not bad but didn't blow my mind either (salad which came with it was disappointing). Still a decent spot regardless
