I stop in often at El Morocco, at least once a week. The afternoon 'menu del dia' is always a treat and a great deal with carefully chosen items prepared with flair and skill. The soups alone are worth stopping for. Today I savored the pastille, a delicious spiced meat stuffing inside a delicate filo dough wrap. This gorgeous gem... More

Wondered into el morrocco on a lazy Sunday evening, a nice and relaxing spot. Good beer and wine selection, the kebab was ok, not bad but didn't blow my mind either (salad which came with it was disappointing). Still a decent spot regardless

This is our third year of patronizing this restaurant. First off, we love the ambiance. Moroccan lamps, brass tables, comfy couches. Or, if you prefer, tables with chairs. We are not connoisseurs of Moroccan food...our one trip to Morocco was more of a nightmare than anything pleasurable..so unfortunately we have even blocked out the food. So this restaurant is our... This restaurant offers a different dining experience in Mexico. It is authentic Moroccan food and there re many options to choose from the vegetarian couscous plate is huge. The vegetables are fresh and are perfectly cooked. The salads are generous portions also. The service is good and the atmosphere is inviting.

As a Moroccan I had high expectations for this restaurant. The least I can say is that it met my expectations! Even though the chef is Mexican, she manages to do a couscous almost as if it was done by my Mum (and from a Moroccan believe me it's a great compliment!). The flavors are authentically Moroccan as well as... More

The meat couscous I had was excellent and generous, enjoyed it a lot! The ice mint tea was good (nothing spectacular). The prices are not given away, the service was ok (waited 40 min for my meal) but the waitress did not bring back the change (15 pesos) within a couple of minutes (perhaps she assumed it was her tip,... Stumbled upon this restaurant/tea house 3 years ago and stopped to have a mint tea....just had to return 3 years later to enjoy it again, this time with some dessert. Near a park in the northern edge of the city (around from the Jardin Conzatti, on Reforma street, near the Calzada Niños Héroes entranceway to the city). They've added other... More

I had the chicken kebab, which came with a nice chilled rice (maybe couscous)/vegetable salad, and some other cooked veggies. You need to order pita on the side for the excellent hummus. I took the waiter's suggestion of hot mint tea for my beverage, which was exceptionally aromatic. The menu is fairly short but has a good selection, and sadly,... More

We've visited El Morocco a few times now, and each time we leave seriously impressed. It's a beautiful restaurant in a nice quiet part of town, with very friendly staff. My boyfriend loves their chicken cous cous, which is so similar to the the cous cous we tried when we visited Morocco earlier this year. I love the 'chicken sandwich'... More

When (and if) you tire of Mexican fare, wander into this sweet Moroccan/Lebanese resto for a distinctive meal. One afternoon on my own, I was ready for something different -- and I found it. That day's special of chicken served with couscous tempted. But my heart was set on moussaka. There are many versions of moussaka. Some such as the... More
