This is the perfect venue to enjoy a delicious fusion of the new and old Mexican cuisine while enjoying of a very nice venue. Conveniently located one block from Santo Domingo church, this restaurant is the best option in Oaxaca City. Don't miss the shrimps with mint sauce, something really amazing! The best option for dinner is to make a... More

We arrived to Oaxaca today (after a month in Puerto Escondido and a brief trip to San Jose del Pacifico) and this was the best food I've had this far in Mexico hands down. Amazing cocktails and appetizers and the lamb.... Oh my gosh the lamb.... If you're into nice meals, great atmosphere and attentive and kind service, you must... More

We went to Casa Oaxaca on a lovely cool evening and sat on the patio that overlooks Santa Domingo church. This was wonderful on its own. But the food--- what can I say. It starts with your specially crafted salsa and a great tortilla. You get to pick the ingredients for your salsa. The smoked octopus was simply amazing. But... More

The outdoor rooftop terrace is a very romantic setting. The food was excellent and the entertainment in the bar as we were leaving made us wish we had finished dinner sooner and headed to the bar before it got so crowded. This was a great place for a birthday dinner.

Loved how they prepares some dishes right at our table and the pre-hispanic way of cooking you will find it here, super tasty and delicious nice looking dishes and very unique yet representing their own culture.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner on the rooftop of this charming restaurant, overlooking the Santo Domingo cathedral. All 3 courses were exceptional. Although the service could have been better, the quality of the food more than made up for any shortfall in attentiveness of waitstaff. Bookings are essential.
