This local restaurant serves a modern twist on Oaxaca´s finest food. They combine flavours and ingredients in a delicious way. Great ambience, good service and the best quality food. I recommend the jicama tacos and the ceviche.

Casa Oaxaca is a beautiful restaurant with fine dining twists on Oaxacan food. Shrimp aguachile was delicious, the nopale salad beautifully presented, the soup with local herbs and grilled dried beef was under seasoned (I put salsa in it to liven it up), which was the only low point in the meal. Pork mole was excellent and the fresh corn... More

Creative take on oaxacan food. Colourful, well prisented dishes. Beef thong and the rabbit leg were exceptionally tender and flavorful, both came accompanied with different delicious mole sauces. Creme brulle is a must. Amazing service

We were very impressed by the attention to detail at the restaurant and really enjoyed watching the making of the salsa at table side. The food itself was superb across a wide selection.

We are cocktail snobs and worked our way through the cocktail list being impressed each time. The food was amazing, particularly the salsa prepared at the table. Cocktails were presented by the waiters, shaking in unison. Good natured, good humoured service and a wonderful setting.

My husband and I had dinner at Casa Oaxaca last night. I had pulpo which was grilled and came with rice with huitlacoche and a roasted tomato and some greens with a vinaigrette dressing. It was all very good and the rice was my favorite. My husband had turkey with mole negro, which he liked. They made a delicious salsa... More

Every time I come to Oaxaca I try to have at least one meal in Casa Oaxaca, just to check its quality remains the same. Nevertheless each time my appreciation improves notably. This time I tried their green salad w/shrimps -wonderful- and a tasteful day catch w/lemon sauce & tomato marmalade, a sea bass technically fished and treated ikajime way.... More

This place has very good reviews but we were only partly happy. We booked a table on the roof terrace but it had been given away before we arrived (on time). In fairness to them, it was raining so they lost maybe half the space on the roof terrace (half covered/half not). But they gave us an apology cocktail &... More
