What a great choice to end our visit to Oaxaca!!! Dinner under the stars with Santo Domingo Basilica as the view! The food is amazing at this restaurant. From the homemade salsa for the tortas that they prepare for you at the table to the "flor de calabazas con queso de cabra" to the rack of lamb and the guava... More

We booked a table for 6 on their terrace, overlooking the Oaxaca cobbled streets, such a perfect setting! Service was good, food was great, margaritas were well prepared. This is a perfect choice for a romantic dinner or just to treat yourself to a "fancy" evening - Oaxaca style. I found this to be the best restaurant in Oaxaca.

We had heard about the passionfruit margaritas - they were worth the wait! Dinner on the terrace was excellent - great food and perfect atmosphere and service. Loved the salsa being created at our table! Excellent evening!

Oaxaca is an interesting city, with a plethora of upscale design hotels and fine dining restaurants. Casa Oaxaca is probably top on the list for both. I ate the chicken and black mole, and it seemed like the chicken was sous vide -- very white and tasteless. I guess they want the mole to be the star... Anyway, it's a... More

Such a nice restaurant located in the center of the city! Cocktails are amazing and food is beyond delicious! Portions are generous and tasty. The waiters come and prepare the salsas at the table based on your preferences. Great place and would gladly retourn.

After a morning and afternoon of exploring Oaxaca, we decided to stop for a couple of drinks and appetizers. We sat on the roof and had a great view of Santo Domingo church. The salsa made table-side for the house appetizer (don't remember the name) was delicious as was the ceviche and tuna tostadas. The service was friendly and attentive.... More

Behind the well known St.Domingo church you will be find this wonderful restaurant. You will find there typical food of Oaxaca en modern presentation. All parts of the food came from the outsidevillages of Oaxaca and it's fresh and organic. The service was amazing, there are a big number of waiters. You are eating upstairs on the terrace under the... More

Staff people are nice, waiter very attentive to our needs. Recommended some drinks that were good. I asked for Flor de Calabaza rellena de escamoles, they didn't have escamoles, so they offered requeson or queso de cabra, I asked for requeson. The waiter left to come 10 minutes later to tell me they had no requeson. I ordered pulpo a... More

We treated ourselves to a meal at Casa Oaxaca and it was wonderful. The service was amazing - mind you we counted about 11 waiters for around 10 diners! However, our waiter was great...he spoke a little English...and treated us extremely well. The food was sublime and the bottle of Chenin Blanc went well with our meal. I had Sea... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the food presentation and excellent service for our first meal in Oaxaca! We were served an appetizer courtesy of the house, a pizza style crunchy blue corn pie with a sprinkling of local cheese on top. A tomato based dip was prepared in front of us. We then ordered the seafood soup cooked with hot... More
