Very good place to come and spend a nice evening on food and drinks. There is a live band which improves the dining experience. Choice of Mezcals and Tequilas is very good. The food would not get you off your feet but in general is...very good.More

Great second floor restaurant with beautiful views of the central plaza Zocalo. Wonderful steaks seasoned simply with salt and pepper yet very flavorful. Amust visit in Oaxaca. The menu is extensive enough to please any palate.

I spent some days in Oaxaca last week and it was obvious that we are reserving a table at El Asador Vasco - it is a must when you are in town. The ambiance, the food, and the service are excellent, with a beautiful view...of the main square of the city. The menu varies a lot, we had fish, meat, even pasta and all tasted yummy. The white wine of the house was a big surprise as well, I bet it would beat most of the ones which are on the wine menu. Our host was Olivia, super nice lady, caring and making a good relationship with the guests, and she also has a great sense of humor - which comes handy when you are after 2-3 margaritas.More

We enjoyed everything about this lovely place, from the service to the food to the view. The menu was quite extensive and included english translations. The fish soup was delicious. So good we returned for another dinner.

We went there in an evening, it’s a bit more expensive place, but never regretting it. The service was excellent, very kind waitresses. The meal was good, had a onion soup and chicken mole. We sat on the terrace. Downstairs outside it was Latin American...life music. In the street/place below the terrace people were dancing. This was really a wonderful experience, could not leave the place.More
