Los Danzantes Oaxaca is a complete experience for all the senses: food, mezcal, service, decoration, ambience and music join to get that result. Traditional with a touch of nouveau creating a relaxing environment perfect to enjoy a unique meal! (A customer).
The food was amazing, really embraces the Mexican flavors with fine dinning. Definitely come back. Would really recommend to try the “moles y mezcal degustación” is a try all the traditions dishes side by side with the traditional mezcals.
The atmosphere was the best part. The dinner was just ok. The Octopus was not tender and the fish was dry and served skin side up. The quality of the food was good, the presentation was good, BUT it was lacking in flavor. The service...was also good! Unfortunately, I will not return.More
From the appetizer to the main courses, everything was over seasoned & over sauced. We ordered soup, salad, appetizer (carnitas in a corn ball), the local dish (can't recall the name) but it was some type of tortilla folded over; was supposed to be shrimp...but when you opened it, it was 90% cheese & very small shrimp. For these prices you would have expected large Mexican shrimp.
The only good thing about this restaurant was the ambience; very romantic.More
Best restaurant overall in Oaxaca, great food, amazing place. You will need reservations, very busy and is not a large place. Great amazing staff and two chef, the main chef is a contemporary one and the assistant chef is a local woman with local flavors....A must when in OaxacaMore
This amazing restaurant located on the Main Street in Oaxaca it’s full always. Get there early and sign in, no reservations accepted. This is also the name of a Mezcal they make so many dishes and drinks include mezcal. Great friendly service.
Friends brought me here for mole. Had the 3 mole plate and had to order extra tortilla to wipe the plate clean. Great service and very friendly. Clean open air dining. I will come back before I leave Oaxaca
