Right across from the central historico site, is this grand-in scale restaurant. Food was good, though a limited menu-same as most places in Oaxaca for a person who prefers to eat vegetarian. Still: good salads and a creative menu. Really the interior with high, open ceilings makes this a very appealing restaurant. Enjoyed it with our merry band of 7... More

We visit this restaurant in our holidays in Mexico, to be honest we follow the reviews but when we visit the place, the food wasn't so good and I got sick after drinking a michelada beer with lemon.

Pretty setting with pleasant decor. Very slow servers to take our order, and even slower to bring the bill at meal's end. We had only soup and salad, yet were there an hour. We were in no particular hurry, but this was exceptionally slow, and the restaurant was not busy. Food was good but not great. We'll not return.

We didn't have reservations so we sat in the lounge/bar area perched above the dining room And next to the water. Sat on a comfy couch overlooking all enjoying delicious food and fantastic service. We let our waiter recommend everything and it was all delicious.

In the Coyoacan district, very busy, on holiday days you need a reservation or have to queue. Typical local food, very tasty. Customers mainly locals. Personnel helpful. Prices in the medium range.

Great food - creative fine dining. Lovely setting - courtyard. Great cocktails. One of the very best in Oaxaca. The others are (in my opinion): Origen, Casa de Oaxaca and Distilado - all equally impressive. If you can visit them all. OSme others of the highest TripAdvisor rated, are, in my opinion, not worth the effort. There are many traditional... More

Los Danzantes is a lovely restaurant with towering walls and a romantic ambience. The food is delicious and the presentation is memorable. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Oaxaca. The other two are Catedral and Casa Oaxaca. If you can, visit all three.

Delicious local food served in an absolutely stunning space. Not a budget place by local standards but still quite reasonable compared to the rest of world. Great service and taste treats for every palate from delicious steaks to more exotic grasshoppers. Don't miss it.

Solid food and lovely environment - we went twice in our one week say. It's outdoors but partially covered, so while you won't get rained on, you may want bring a sweater on a chilly evening! The duck tacos were superb, as was the zucchini blossom soup. We enjoyed our other meals here as well - steak, seared tuna, pork... More

I think the food was very good but not incredible/unforgettable. BUT, the mescal was great, the place, architecture and decor is the best (modern) and the service was excelent. Great atmosphere. This is a most go place if you want to see a kind of trendy and nice place. Try different mescales. Waiters are willing to explain.
