Cajeta Frappe is the best!

Friendly people and Cajeta frappe was on point. I love the seating area as well. Very peaceful and bright!

Located in the walking & shopping area of downtown Oaxaca, Brujula has very good coffee & desserts, served in a lovely indoor courtyard with skylights.

Despite an ideal location near Santo Domingo and attractive decor, this cafe fails to deliver a good experience. We were there for a coffee while waiting for a friend. When she arrived 20 minutes later we still hadn't been served, though a nearby table who came in later had, and we'd reminded the waiter twice. "What!" said our friend and... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are truly sorry about your experience. We strive to be the best in Oaxaca in both product and service, and we clearly missed the mark. The service you received is inexcusable, and is not typical of the normally high standards of our crew. As is our policy, our entire... More

My wife and I stopped by--she wanted a good cup of coffee and loved her cappuccino. I was pleasantly surprised not only to find three kinds of green tea but had the option of iced, which I took. Delicious. Nice courtyard to sit. Wonderful bookstore next door. A real pleasure overall.

This place is known for some of the best coffee in Oaxaca and they deliver! There are a couple of these around town, we went to the one across from Santo Domingo church.

If you are a coffee aficionado, this is the place for you in Oaxaca. My americano was strong, hot and flavorful. My wife's mango smoothie brought her back to life in a hot afternoon. Great service and selection.

There are many places to get coffee or hot chocolate in Oaxaca, and there are several branches of Cafe Brujula, but I settled on this branch of the local chain on the pedestrian street of Alcala about 2 blocks from the Zocalo. The staff was so friendly, and my drinks were served decoratively. There is a nice courtyard seating area... More

One is closer to Zocolo near the museum and has great outdoor seating. The other is crowded near the cathedral and not worth visiting.

This is a well-located very small coffee spot. The coffee is OK, but not very strong. The best reason to visit, which we did several times, is to sit in the pretty courtyard. The cakes are delicious.

Great coffee, friendly staff and fast wifi. What more could you ask for? A central location with the wonderful smell of fresh ground coffee permeating the neighbourhood. The baristas know their stuff. So far this has been the best coffee I've had in Central America. Great place to chill out during the hottest part of the day.
