I found this place searching for Mexican restaurants which were inexpensive yet walking distance from our hotel and found this place and so glad that we tried it. Everyone was friendly from the hostess stand till the time that we left! Our server greeted us fast and out came our drinks. I loved how they have the tables set up... More

We had a nice family lunch. The carnitas were excellent, chopped a bit smaller than I'm use to but I am sure you could specify. My daughter had the cochinita and loved it. The service was excellent.

Went here for a fabulous lunch after a day in the park. The mole enchiladas were amazing. We shared the chocolate flan after. Great lunch frequented by office dwelling locals.

We eat here every time we are in town for work. It is a quick walk from the Camino Real Polanco hotel. The carnitas are awesome, great for sharing as an appetizer or for your own entree.

Now celebrating some 70 years of the best friend-pork tacos in Hood, if you're around the curve in (Paseo de la) Reforma, around the corner from the two tall skyscrapers (and the "Estela de Luz" and the Comisión Federal de Electricidad), all near the above museums. Plenty of other dishes, good guacamole. If you don't like the greasier cuts of... More

We dropped in for lunch. We were seated upstairs in a covered porch type area. It was nice to be in the fresh air but still sheltered from the elements and some of the noise from the street below. Service was fast and efficient. We all went for the specials, the tacos and giant pork scratchings! We had already been... More

Arrachera wasn't grilled, food quality overall was poor. Service was good , seated right away. It was also clean and noise level was minimum

This place wins the award of best food during our 2 weeks traveling in Mexico. You can either eat at the restaurant and sit down, or eat at the street counter next to the entrance. We tried few traditional dishes and the quality was excellent! The Sopes con Carnitas are definitely worth taking as well as the quesadillas and soups!... More

We went for dinner after seeing the reviews and came back for breakfast the next morning and ordered the same thing! They open at 9 am but don't have a dietary breakfast menu. We got carnitas and guacamole. They were the best tacos that we had in Mexico City.
