Delicious food and fantastic restaurant space. Great service but so fast, we were in and out with cocktails, bread and 2 courses within an hour!

Like nearly all restaurants in CDMX, gluten-free items are not marked on menu at Lardo. However, the wait staff here is very knowledgeable regarding which of their menu items are GF or can be modified. I had the organic chicken with spinach and artichokes. Sadly,...all three items on the plate were overwhelmed by salt, so this place is safe for celiacs, but not for foodies. Only one dessert item on the menu is GF, but it is phenomenal. I highly recommend the chocolate avocado mousse.More

Staying over the road you can see it’s amazing popularity. Queues most of the day. Thought probably overhyped. However decided to have a light lunch. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. Amazing customer service. Attentive and very warm welcome. No sense at any time of...being hurried along. When the food arrived it was immaculately presented. A feast for the eyes and on eating, tasted as good. Unfortunately I didn’t hesitate to tuck in, so no fotos of the food. Just clean plates- all of them. So, they deserve their popularity and it’s worth trying.More

We sat at a table with my back facing the bar, about 8 feet away. While looking at the menu there was suddenly a loud sound and my back and arms were instantly soaked from an exploding cola can that blew off the bar. I...asked the hostess for a towel to dry my shirt. She had a waitstaff bring me one, then stared at me as if it were my fault rather than the bartender. She did not say a word or apologize, offer a comp or ask if I was OK. I was stunned at her indifference. The food was fine, the waitstaff pleasant and the bill rather expensive. But the mood was impacted by the unpleasantness of a shirt sprayed with cola and an indifferent hostess. Customer service and caring where art thou?More

Very nice atmosphere. The place is very busy so it’s important to come at the right time. Not sure if they take reservations. The Lardo bread is addictive. Everything on the menu sounds delicious. We ordered octopus (wasn’t the best choice), pasta with rabbit (very...good), fried seafood rice, lots of appetizers. The pizzas looked amazing, we regretted not ordering it. Many really nice dessert options. Great service.More

We couldn't get reservations but a friend suggested we hit the bakery window in the morning for the pastries. We grabbed a few- the dulce pan, a pannatone and piece of savory focaccia with tomatoes. The coffees were the best we had in MC and...we loved the focaccia - with the dulce a second...very messy and delish. The panetonne, eh. But never really like it so....Grab those and sit in the park.More

Food was nice but expensive and the portions were tiny! Staff were ok but not especially welcoming, mostly tourists dining there. Feels like a bit of a tourist trap that is a victim of its own success. Overall disappointing and we wouldn’t recommend.

We could not get a reservation inside, but still had a very good meal outside in the street side cabana. We asked for an inside table, (seeing vacancies), but we were told a little gruffly the res was for outside…. We had six items to...be served and shared one after the other. Spaced apart they were not, but a very worthwhile. Calabacín Flores, Tostado Hidago Pollo, Ensalada Alcachofa, Lasagna pato, Ribalo curry, Helado higo Rostizaor All good! We would eat there again when in CDMX.More

Do reserved. If not you will be waiting for 40 min or more for your table. The food was average, and the service was fast and nice. Go but I think the breakfast and brunch are better than then lunch.
