Good selection of wines and list of drinks. Very good service. The food is good. I ate a starter of octopus and although the taste was very good, the texture was not perfect. The hamburguer is average. The place is clean.

We read about this restaurant in our lonely planet book, what a great discovery. Our first impression upon arrival was "we were under dressed", this is a very upmarket restaurant, but don't let this deter you. We were impressed and appreciated the English written menu, with a wonderful selection of delicious sounding dishes - seafood galore! We feasted on fish... More

We walked around the corner from our B&B to Lampuga Condesa, which specialises in seafood, but they had plenty of alternatives for us vegetarians. We had grilled vegetables in terrayaki, grilled asparagus, artichokes (which were a bit of a let down – thought they would be artichoke hearts, not whole, so very chewy – didn’t eat outer bits), and sautéed... head here for lunch and dinner with friends or for business. It's mostly seafood with Italian touches and a competent staff.

I had lunch at La Lampuga on a Sunday, it was packed. I had the ceviche and some fish tacos . The ceviche was excellent, but I can't say that I enjoyed the fish tacos. Maybe its just my taste buds because I'd heard many good things about this restaurant. However, the service was excellent, I felt that they were... More

We ate quite late and had no trouble getting a table. The hotel made a reservation just in case. All the outside tables were being used by smokers, so we stayed inside. The tuna tidbits were a bit overcooked, but the shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious. A nice wine list and good desserts. We had a very pleasant evening and... More

We went, we saw, we ate and we left disappointed. I should have known better. The menu was all over the place. While the service was attentive the food was not at the same level.

I have been to other branches of the restaurant and have always found them to be outstanding. Had lunch there yesterday, not many people in the restaurant. Food was good, but not outsatanding. The place is very nice and well located in the Condesa / Roma area, where a lot of the action now takes place in Mexico City. Will... More

Three of us had dinner here earlier in the week. Lovely dining room, attentive service, and well prepared seafood dishes. I had a pan seared robalo, my partner had a shrimp noodle dish, and our friend had octopus -- all were delicious. We shared the ceviche lampuga to start, and finished with a homemade flan. I ordered a couple of... More
