Reasonable japanese food

Daikoku is one of the oldest japanese restaurant chains in Mexico City and over 35 years in the business. Good food such as sashimi, tempura, ramen at reasonable prices and a lot of Mexicans enjoy this restaurant. We had ramen , gyoza and vanilla ice cream with coffee gelatin. Good food always!!!

This place is located in the heart of La condesa and is reasonable priced. With that said it's honestly a hit or miss. I've been to Daikoku maybe 5 times and each time the experience was different. Service is pretty much pretty good, but a few times I had to wave my hand to get the busy waiter to come... More

Yelp is new in Mexico. That´s why Daikoku has just 8 reviews and 4 stars. It´s wrong. Daikoku could´t be more mediocre. It should have 1 star. It´s sad the quality and grade and unbelievable how this places can survive. A few warning if you end there: -Don´t eat there. Avoid. -Don´t sit at the back of the salon. It... More

Daikoku, on Avenida Michoacan, Condesa, is by far the best Japanese restaurant in town. The wonderful food is authentic, the atmosphere is very nice, and the service is great. I've been eating there for years. I even call by phone and have some of their wonderful dishes delivered to my home. If you're a fan of Japanese food, don't hesitate... More

Great food. Inmense menu. You need to ask since you might end up with a just a plain dish instead of a superb creation with all the trimmings. Very authentic. Food made on the spot. Great flavor / smell. Ambiance is just beautiful with fountains and japanese style gardens. Service is not to the level of the restaurant, but you... More

Good food, good service, nice sushi, friendly prices. My 1st choice for Japanese in Mexico City. I usually order sushi because it is decently priced and quite good, in my opinion. The miso soup is also very tasty.
