The food is abundant and pretty authentic, pretty good flavour even in the simple dishes. The prices are even a but low for the amount of ramen that they serve. The service is pretty good and its usually never bad (although I have encountered a few waiters there that i dont know if they're new or about to quit that... More

One of the worst places I have been in Mexico City. Just when I thought that service could not get any worst, my food arrived cold and seafood was rotten. If you value your mental and physical health, don't get near this place

We went for a late lunch on a Sunday. We split a noodle soup and the mixed tempura plate. The service was good (it wasn't busy). We were really happy with the tempura - it was hot, crispy, and flavorful. The noodle soup was flavorful, but wasn't as hit as it should have been. Bottom line is that this restaurant... More

The food is absolutely authentic and wonderful. I last went there April 25, 2016 with my wife and daughter. I had mishushiro soup, sonomono with shrimp, and tuna rolls. All delicious. I drank an Appleton rum and coke. This restaurant is not fancy, but the food is excellent. I go there every chance I get when someone in the family... More

Been a regular since 10 years or so. The most authentic japanese food in Mexico City. You got to try it. Service is kind of annoying, since the waiters are all on you, but besides that, food is very good; yakimeshi, nigiri and sushi selection is fair; prizes are reasonable; location is good.

Daikoku is one of the oldest japanese restaurant chains in Mexico City and over 35 years in the business. Good food such as sashimi, tempura, ramen at reasonable prices and a lot of Mexicans enjoy this restaurant. We had ramen , gyoza and vanilla ice cream with coffee gelatin. Good food always!!!

This place is located in the heart of La condesa and is reasonable priced. With that said it's honestly a hit or miss. I've been to Daikoku maybe 5 times and each time the experience was different. Service is pretty much pretty good, but a few times I had to wave my hand to get the busy waiter to come... More

Yelp is new in Mexico. That´s why Daikoku has just 8 reviews and 4 stars. It´s wrong. Daikoku could´t be more mediocre. It should have 1 star. It´s sad the quality and grade and unbelievable how this places can survive. A few warning if you end there: -Don´t eat there. Avoid. -Don´t sit at the back of the salon. It... More

Daikoku, on Avenida Michoacan, Condesa, is by far the best Japanese restaurant in town. The wonderful food is authentic, the atmosphere is very nice, and the service is great. I've been eating there for years. I even call by phone and have some of their wonderful dishes delivered to my home. If you're a fan of Japanese food, don't hesitate... More
