San Angel Inn restaurant has been a staple for Mexico City business lunches, family gatherings and visitors alike. Service is generally bar none and food is high quality old school. Ask for a table side Caesar salad, beef medallions (made any way), and of course, crepes or bananas foster for desert, also table side.

Without question, one of the very best all around places to eat in the city. Beautiful, elegante, full menu, and the best of waiters possible. I have never heard of anyone who was disappointed.

Great place for lunch. Great Margaritas. Good place for doing business. A classic at Mexico City. Try to take a drink first at the bar or a garden table, and then get to you indoor table to take your food. Excellent choice for foreign clients.

If you are every in Mexico City and want to have an experience like no other I suggest San Angel Inn. It's very formal so coat and tie are required. The food is very good and the service exemplary. Located in the south of the city. A must go if you are there.

I had a fantastic dinner experience at San Angel Inn. I arrived without a reservation for an early dinner with my traveling companion, and we were immediately seated in a large dining room with quaint decorations and a fireplace. The food and service were excellent, and the staff seemed well coordinated and experienced in their tasks. A highlight of the... More

Probably the best restaurant I have ever visited- been coming there since 1968-- service exquisite-- food fantastic-- ambiance the best anywhere. The carne asada and salmon plus Caesar salad is the best. Dessert tray of berries is incredible.

this is one of the best restaurants in Mexico City to eat traditional mexican food. Upscale place in San Angel, a very nice neighborhood in South Mexico City.

Staying in San Angel

Neighborhood Profile
San Angel
San Ángel is known for its artistic vibe and elegant details displayed throughout its streets, antique residences and haciendas where famous actors like Consuelo Velázquez, Capulina and other prominent families used to live and that have now been turned into beautiful galleries, cafés and restaurants. An array of cultural and artistic activities are organized in the neighborhood, but it is on Saturdays when the San Jacinto Plaza and surroundings really shine as artists gather to exhibit a variety of arts and crafts, from paintings to clothing.
