The only thing I can say about these restaurants is the time to get a table, it can take at least 40min. The food is really good everything I have eaten is good.

El Cardenal is one of the finest restaurants in Mexico City. The food and service are excellent but expensive. You do get value for the price. The restaurant sits just off of the city's historic Zocalo. If you want a good introduction to the best of Mexican food this is good place to start.

We highly recommend Cardenal when visiting the historic center of Mexico City. Waiter was very professional yet friendly and our salmon and sea bass were excellent. Unusual corn soup and palm salad were good too.

Visited twice on our visit.First time was so good,we re-booked.On both occasions the food and drinks were very good, but the service on our second visit left a lot to be desired. It's a nice room near the centre of town.Popular with locals,so booking advised.

Breakfast was really good, although it does feel like an industrial restaurant. It's not the typical mom and papa Mexican breakfast, but the food is amazing. One of the best hot chocolate we ever tasted !

Very near the Zocalo, this restaurant has great ambience, service and very delicious food. We loved the soups and appetizers the most. Very competitively priced for the location and quality of food/service.

We loved the place! Wonderfully fresh food with lots of healthy choices and the flavors were perfect. We happened by after a visit to Bellas Artes which incidentally had a informative tour in English of the murals and were lucky enough to get a table without a wait. Terrific takes on Mexican cuisine, would definitely go back, only open for... More
