Going to Cluny is like stepping into a French bistro in Paris. Décor and ambience are just right. Food is splendid. I think the $300 prix fix lunch is well worth it. I enjoyed an onion soup -- best I've had in ages -- plus...More

Great menu with a wide choice of mostly French inspired dishes and filled crepes. The decoration is discretely Parisian. The service is prompt and courteous. Relaxed atmosphere.

The south part of Mexico City is an iconic one. There you find beautiful old neighborhoods and delicious restaurants. Cluny is one of the best restaurants I can recommend, inside the old house "Porfirian style" dated back in the early 20th century, the atmosphere is...More

This restaurant has a great menu with a number of interesting salads and main dishes. Their signature salad (Ensalada Cluny) was fresh, beautifully arranged on the plate, and delicious. The bread basket had a variety of interesting kinds of breat.

It´s a shame that this sweet and original restaurant has become a mediocre place. It´s crepes, steak tartar and salads used to be delicious. I ate here some months ago and found a small stone in my salad. Luckily I didn´t break a teeth but......More

The service is wonderful, the food excellent, the price very reasonable considering the quality and you can even get a much better cost-benefit ratio by ordering a fixed-price menu. I loved it!

Description
Mexico City’s first and best creperie, established in 1974. Cluny is located in the heart of the historical quarter of San Angel in the south of Mexico City and housed in a grand building which was the former residence of one of the area’s wealthiest families, built in 1901 and now listed as one of the city’s historical landmarks. This location, together with an elegantly appointed décor is what gives Cluny a very romantic, cozy and inviting atmosphere, as our tables are set amongst stone & brick arches and vaulted ceilings.Over its 35+ years of existence, Cluny has increased its number of tables from 14 to 80+, now taking up almost the entire ground floor of the former residence. This expansion has also been reflected on our menu, which now not only offers traditional crepes, but also innovative and delicious seafood dishes, grilled meats, one of the city’s most famous salad bars, traditional French dishes, bread and ice creams made by our chef, and a beautiful Belle Epoque style wine bar which opened in 2003.
