A friend and I visited cluny for lunch. We both had crepes that were delicious. They came with a nice size portion of good salad. Very French. We also were served good bread. For dessert I chose chocolate mousse and it was fantastic! The place is large and was mostly empty. Service was excellent. I enjoyed this lunch very much!

Nice french decorations, good service, They have a big salad bar. We had crepes, Azteca (shredded chicken, corn, poblano peppers, cheese), Monsieur (ham and gouda cheese), and Popeye (spinach and ham), hamburger (which is enormous and very well served), the Dijon Steak is exquisite. It is nice and quiet, good place for family meal or with friends. In the building... More

Had dinner with friends there this week. As appetizers, we had the pathé dish and a spinach salad. Both were very good. My wife had the Four Cheese Crepe, I had the Savoyarde Crepe (open faced with chicken and melted swiss cheese), my friend had Beef Bourgignon and his wife had the Portobello Mushroom Crepe. All dishes were very good.... More

Good atmosphere and good location. It took me three years to visit the restaurant again and very excited to try again a crepe but it wasn´t so good like years ago. Anyway it was not bad. The wine, the food is good and you can have a good time with friends, family or even a business meeting there

The place is not as good as it used to be, everything looks kind of old, the food wasn't great and the services was just ok. I would say try crepes somewhere else

This place has long tradition in the city. Honestly, it's been a while since I visit them last time (more than 15 years?). I was kind of lost at the menu and asked for help, the waitress said the burger was very good. Since I am a big fan of burgers, I give it a try. It was not the... More

I usually came here to eat all and each of the Crepes, but I decided this time to try the Burger as I heard some good comments. Enough said, that this was one of my top three burgers in town so far. I enjoyed every piece of it with the Antique Mustard, Home Made Ketchup and bread. For burger lovers,... More

We enjoyed this classic French bistro in Mexico City. The crepe with chicken and mushrooms on a bed of true classic bechamel and the chocolate mousse are true French classics. The restaurant and patio are truly French!

Located at the corner of Avenida la Paz and Avenida Revolucion since the late seventies, Creperia Cluny maintains a very good quality in crepes (filled with a variety of salty or sweet fillings) and salads. It is in the first floor of an old building to which a smaller food court was later added. The inside is decorated casually, with... More

In Avenida La Paz, close to San Angel Bazaar del sabado. Nice cozy place, decorated mainly with Toulouse Lautrec's prints. I recommend to sit on the outside tables which offer those traditional frenchy seats. I recommend Clams, wine, the rustic salad to end with any of their dessert crepes.

Description
Mexico City’s first and best creperie, established in 1974. Cluny is located in the heart of the historical quarter of San Angel in the south of Mexico City and housed in a grand building which was the former residence of one of the area’s wealthiest families, built in 1901 and now listed as one of the city’s historical landmarks. This location, together with an elegantly appointed décor is what gives Cluny a very romantic, cozy and inviting atmosphere, as our tables are set amongst stone & brick arches and vaulted ceilings.Over its 35+ years of existence, Cluny has increased its number of tables from 14 to 80+, now taking up almost the entire ground floor of the former residence. This expansion has also been reflected on our menu, which now not only offers traditional crepes, but also innovative and delicious seafood dishes, grilled meats, one of the city’s most famous salad bars, traditional French dishes, bread and ice creams made by our chef, and a beautiful Belle Epoque style wine bar which opened in 2003.
