It used to be the first stop on any trip to Mexico City. Service was impeccable, always polite. And the food would nearly explode with flavor and freshness.
Sadly, it has not withstood the test of time.
Service was borderline the whole night.
The food...was nothing to write home about, and when you are in a city like Mexico, that's almost a sin.
When I tipped 10%, the waiter was rude AF, saying :" was the service that bad?" trying to get a bigger tip. Unheard of in Mexico.
I asked a friend who lives in the city and she told me that the heads of the restaurant travel a lot now and are no longer captaining the place.
You could tell there were empty tables, when it used to be a line outside, and mostly foreigners, not locals any more.More
