We were the only diners on the night we ate at Tezka, so we received wonderful service and attention. The meal was fine and we were surprised to be served complimentary amuse bouche and petit fours. The restaurant is certainly going all-out to please its customers and we had a very enjoyable evening there.

We arrived searching for the restaurant in the unusual decor of the Hotel Royal in the destitute Zona Rosa neighborhood of Mexico City. And I really mean searching, since the restaurant is quite hidden specially when all lights of the restaurant and its entrance were off, which was the case on that Sunday-despite the fact that we had made a... We found the dining room to be very beautifully appointed, and a formal yet un-stuffy atmosphere. We loved the art work and the design of the dining room. Martin was our lead server, and was very helpful with our menu selections. The service throughout was superb, at a relaxing pace. Martin made an excellent suggestion for our wine which was... More

We recently celebrated our anniversary in Mexico City and chose to have dinner at Tezka. The restaurant is beautiful and romantic and the service was hands down the best. However, we were the only table in a highly rated place on a Friday evening in the 4th largest city in the world! Please understand that lunch is the big meal... More

Among the few really good places in the south part of Mexico, you will find Tezka, a classical vasque cuisine with original creations from the Chef. Great decor, professional and friendly service are the pluses of this restaurant, the only downside, its only open for lunch.

We haven't been here for many years and decided to come back for a change of pace. It was a little sad to see it so empty on a Friday night because the food is top notch and so is the service. I remember several years ago when most of the tables would be filled and the chef would come... More

Just another expensive place where you can spend too much for anything else you can get for a lor less in several other places around the block. Otro lugar donde poder gastar demasiado para comida que a precios mucho mas bajos se puede conseguir en diferentes otros lugares en la misma cuadra.

Tezka is one of the best restaurants in Mexico City. It is on the second floor of the Hotel Royal Pedregal. It serves a limited selection of really great food. The chef is from the Basque country and the menu reflects that. I actually got to meet the chef, who was very friendly and spoke good English. Food for him... More

A great establishment to go to if you enjoy Spanish cuisine with hints of Mexican flavors. I tried the sea bass here in pistachio sauce. Save plenty of room for the desserts. Good selection of wines to choose from.
