The place is nice. Service is great and kindly. They have a nice wine menu at fair prices. The food is not as good as we expected. The fish does not feel as fresh and tasty as you expected. Below expectations.

My wife and I were looking for a new spot to eat breakfast in Polanco, our favorite neighborhood in Mexico City. We discovered this restaurant for the first time and were delighted with what we found. When we arrived, the line was long and outside of the restaurant. However, we asked the hostess if we could have a drink while... More

The real Portugese cuisine taste much different. Some dishes were 'ok'. But still, as the only portugese restaurant it can be rated 'average'. I think their seafood dishes are better than meat dishes. I must admit their Chocolate souffle was delicious. The waiter showed us various desserts displayed in a plate and told us it was a chocolate mousse but... More

The menu is as Portuguese as it gets and the food is quite good. I would recommend you to visit this restaurant and enjoy a great meal with good service. If for some reason you want a cocktail though, I would recommend you to go somewhere else.

Casa Portuguese in the Polanco area of Mexico city serves delicious food in a lovely setting close to the park. The clams in white wine sauce are wonderful as is the pulpo with pinto beans. We tried the Robalo with grilled vegetables and the seafood casserole with clams, shrimp, fish, mussels and calamari. Both dishes were excellent. Good wine list... More

Me and my wife loved the Pastel de Bacalhau. They have a very good wine list and the Grilled Bacalhau is to die for.

If you want a break from the delicious Mexican food this is a good option. The location of the restaurant is perfect if you are in Polanco. The food is authentic Portuguese and very good. My only disappointment was the deserts because they don't have the ones based on eggs that are my favourite.

Personally, I loved the bacalao silvestre while my wife really enjoyed the "pulpos a la portuguesa". Service is not the best, but it is good.

Sunday afternoon walking across the Park in Polanco to Casa Portuguesa. It is a most pleasant experience. Starting with the Outdoor veranda with a great view to the inside of the restaurant with crips clean decor in both floors with a distinct Portuguese flare. The service is impeccable, with the owners very involved in the day to day and minute... More
