It looks like a typical french restaurant but the food itself was not good and definitely not for the price. Maybe my expectations were too high but the dishes we four people tried were not good at all. It is opened 24 hours a day so maybe we can call it an expensive cafeteria.

Inside the hotel Intercontinental this elegant French Bistro serves all the dishes you expect to eat in Paris. From Rillettes to Foie Gras, from Filet mignon to Duck a l'Orange. It's more expensive than other good restaurants but still very affordable. Elegant patrons and friendly waiters serve you a good bottle of Pinot Noir without that you need to rob... More

The best ingredients used. Excellent French cuisine in Mexico. Not to mention their range of wines (shared with all the restaurants of the hotel): the widest and finest in Latin America.

The food is really terrible, completely destroyed by mexicans.either it has zero taste like paper or its too salty.onion soup, one of the famous french dishes was desgusting, cruspy duck was overfried in a bad cheap oil.the service was terrible as well, the mineral water was served in s closed bottle on top of the table.no surprise that the restaurant was empty on saturday... Traditional French bistro with all the standard dishes served by a courteous staff. Location on the interior of the building detracts bit from the ambiance, however, the food makes up for it.

While staying at the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel some friends and I decided to dine at Au Pied De Cocbon. Since it is located in the hotel it was an easy commute. Having eaten not that long before we opted to do a tasting of a variety of starters. We selected the Oyster Sampler, Escargot, Steak Tartar, and Cheese Platter. Word... More

We visited Au Pied de Cochon at midnight after a long flight. Surprisingly, the restaurant was packed at this hour on a Tuesday. The staff was very friendly. We tried a salad and some fish. The server was very helpful in choosing menu items. It was a nice experience and I would recommend it.

This is a restaurant inside an exclusive hotel with a nice French atmosphere, and excellent service, and a menu that is curious because offers French dishes as well as Mexican chilaquiles , anyways the food is good, the atmosphere is warm nice for a coffee chat, but in the end the bill goes high and that is the only thing... While you may find cheaper french spaces in Mexico City, Au Pied de Cochon will make your day. Extensive menu with all preferences, any offering will not let you down. One of my daughter's favorite!
